LCFC vs Slavia Prague (2nd Leg) - Match Thread - 25/02/2021

You do have to wonder, on the performances we've put in over the 2 legs if we've decided to concentrate on finishing in a champs league spot... because its been pathetic and we've not really changed our approach for 2 and half hours of football. An approach that hasn't worked for 2 and a half hours of football.

Looks bad right now but really this is a reflection on our overall squad depth. We simply don't have enough quality to replace so many injured players and those who are coming back from injury with top class replacements.

We can all forgive the starting team, not changing it at half time less so.

I had that idea too....priority calls may have had to be made

I think it’s just a lack of squad depth compounded by a compressed season

How can you blame Vardy there when Ünder played a simple 5 yard pass behind him so he had to turn his back to goal?

It was an atrocious pass.

Terrible control mate, nothing wrong with that pass.

Very disappointing but if the results stays the same we need to think of the bigger picture. Which is champions league football and cash more importantly. Gives us the gateway to more years of European cup ties to have a proper go at when half our squad isn’t crocked

We've had bad injuries across the team this season. Rodgers has found solutions throughout and players have stepped up. I'm afraid Rodgers gambling on Tielemans as our attacking midfielder was completely the wrong call.
