hejammy Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 That free kick sums us up. No leaders. No one wants to take the game by the scruff of the neck
chapero82 Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 Not strengthening in January has hurt us tonight 1
jayfox26 Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 its shit like this why we aren't considered a big club. We have no pedigree at the highest level other than our run in the champs league and we are going to bottle a big game again like we did against Villa. People mock spurs and Arsenal and yes they have been crap in the league but are both comfortably through in Europe. Christ even Rangers are through. No excuse for this and I genuinely believe Rodgers has written this tournament off to focus on top 4. If we get top 4 then great.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 I so hope this isn’t gonna be another no plan b night for Brendan Slavia are nowt special. We are just appalling tonight

I'm gutted about this performance so far but the Europa League is behind the Prem and FA Cup in terms of priorities. Something has to give.
The Guvnor Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 Just to put this in perspective, we are being outplayed by a team who's groundsman uses a fcuking rotavator to keep their pitch in tip top condition. 2
knitro Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 everyone needs to steel themselves for the most flagrant time wasting you've ever seen. 1

I'm afraid Rodgers gambling on Tielemans as our attacking midfielder was completely the wrong call. But what other choices does he realistically have. Maddison injured, Under doesn't look good enough. Perez injured, Kelechi suspended. Tielemans is just about the only central creative player we have left available. 2

sishades Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 This feels as bad as Newport fecking County.
LanguedocFox Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 WTF are we doing taking a free kick on the halfway line and working it back to Schmeichel? FFS!
BigGibbo Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 How many times have we seen this? Arrogant top 6 Premier League team rests key players underestimating the power of an away goal and coasts against dangerous European opposition until they concede and then look really lively way too late. Never thought we'd become one of them.
filbertway Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 One thing that can be put to bed tonight is that Under doesnt graft.
Criggers Posted 25 February 2021 Posted 25 February 2021 We could have been playing like this from minute one. With a lot less pressure on every little pass. What a way to potentially whimper out.
