Italian clubs now out. This is dead in the water. Now to stop this bullshit 2024 proposal and sanction these melts.

Which is why a big change is needed in order to preserve the future of English football. Somehow I think this guy has managed to dupe everyone with promises of billions. He probably went to the banks with a deal, they said yes if you can get the clubs on board and then went to the clubs saying the banks were on board. Dodgy dealings

Exactly! UEFA only changed the format to appease these greedy 12 and stop them breaking away, which they did anyway. So screw em now. Take away that stupid coefficient crap for a start. 

Apparently the big clubs were set to get a 30% increase of the revenue as well. Scrap that and distribute the money equally. They've lost their big bluff now.

Yes true. "Forced to take such decisions due to the pressure on them" is a phrase I particularly dislike from this. It's almost as if they are trying to make out they are victims in this. No, it's that everybody hates your disgusting proposals you tw@ts 🤬.

I am going to raise a possibility that some of you - maybe a lot of you - might not like at all.

 

We've been, and we continue to be thoroughly manipulated. I don't exempt myself, and no insult is meant by it to anyone, anywhere. There is no crime in caring, or being passionate. The crime is with the greedy, soulless sociopaths, who unfortunately (and I once worked for just such) happen to be expert at treating humanity as weakness, and playing fellow human beings like a fiddle.

 

I don't know the exact endgame, but this isn't just going to go away.

I am 100% FOR the Qatar WC!

Entitled Euro fans think that a WC should be primarily for them, but if it truly a WORLD Cup, it should reflect the globe.

Don't be daft, this is the first time I can remember there being a massive uproar over the staging location of a World Cup.  Nobody cared when it went to South Africa or Japan and Korea, it has nothing to do with it being held in a new country and everything to do with the obvious greed and corruption behind it all.

Well that was a fun 48 hours wasn’t it.

 

According to social media the players and fans of the Big 6 are now apparently saviours of the game :blink:


A Chelsea fan group from India on Twitter loudly proclaiming ‘Chelsea fans save football’. :facepalm:

 

Player’s suddenly remembering their social media logon details just as the entire house of cards collapsed. All being lapped up by their fans like nothing has happened, some retrospect hero who has saved the day. :surrender:
 

Harry Maguire appears to have personally evicted Ed Woodward from his office :ermm:
 

These people are part of the problem, they still know no shame. They have been more that happy to tag along for the ride. A couple of weeks and  they’re going to be squealing for big money signings again. 
 

There is cancer at the heart of these clubs and I doubt a change of ownership or leadership will cure them totally. 


Don’t be fooled by the fan protests or the players objections they would have rode that out. The players would have got a nice new obscene contract and got on with it. 
 

When the government stated they would change the law to stop them that was the end of the road, for now.

It will come as no surprise to anybody to learn The Times is reporting this morning that plans for the ESL began in 2017 - the year after we won the league. It says it the idea came about because the ‘big clubs’ were concerned about other clubs threatening their Champions League places and hence incomes.

 

So it REALLY WAS all our fault! :)
