I don't even think the idea of a pure run up and cross balls in winger is that popular anymore. At least, not someone whose job it is is to stay wide. With so many teams having overlapping FB/WB, forward players drift in more.

He’d do fine. He’s a wide forward/winger/all purpose forward and number ten.

And he’s left-footed.

Exactly what we’ve always wanted…

Gone very quiet this.

West Ham supporting mate thinks they're slight favourites partly because WBA still own them money for Diangana, and partly because they also want Sam Johnstone.

He'd be my first choice and I'd be amazed if we're not in for him. How any deal is structured, as opposed to 'how much?' might be the problem. As well as the competition.

West Ham will end up with Lingard and possibly Sima. There's no room for Pereira given they have Bowen who plays where he plays and Lingard (I'm convinced that's where he'll end up). Sima also plays either wide right or up front and their fans seem to think he's destined to sign.

The wages rumoured don’t make sense so could be wrong… got to be going for £100k a week id imagine otherwise what’s the point

If true, would be great just to see the meltdown from the Hammers fans. They wouldn't like losing out to a 'smaller' club. lol

A better option than Dan James for me. James I quick, but I think Perreira would be better suited to our style of attacking game with the overlapping full backs and combing with Madders etc

which ITK?

wouldnt shock me him going to the middle east, probably get a higher wage there and the teams he'll be up against arent always great standard either

..  do not believe this for a second!!!

They wear the same kit as ours, his agent must be suffering from a case of mistaken identity for this to come to pass.

Why's that then?

They love signing midfielders on loan with a view to a permanent from the championship.

I'd love him here as he could provide cover for maddison as well as right wing. Could be a really solid praet replacement. Also a left footed set piece taker who presses well.

I can't, they've imposed a salary cap so he'd likely be on less than what he's earning now.

50k a week + all the crispy duck you can eat!

Tempting?
