He does! He's clearly been working really hard over the summer. I get the impression he's quite a naturally fit guy anyway seeing how well he slotted into the demands of the Championship. Anyhow, I am really excited to see how he progresses this year.

Based on the 5 second clip of KDH in training closing players down like a man possessed, he'd be the player to bring on at 70 mins to help close out games instead of Hamza (assuming he's on his way out) - the sub Rodgers sometimes make's where he brings an extra midfielder when we're tiring but also has the quality on the ball that Hamza doesn't. Looks like a beast fitness wise.

What's with players coming back from holiday late and not being present on the first day of pre season (if that is the case)? Surely after having a 6 week break players would be expected to arrange holidays so they are back day 1 of pre season? Plenty of sunny green list countries out there to avoid having to isolate.

Could still be injured, not sure he's got long left given the foot injury he has isn't going away.

We need some good news on the injury front, it'll be great to see Barnes back at 100%. James, Castagne, Evans and Fofana will hopefully get there at some point. Above all we need Vardy back approaching his best.

I know we have new signings but it can take a while for players to adapt, some never do. We may need the youngsters like kdh stepping up for a period.

I know Albrighton, Prerez and Maddison were all abroad so I’m guessing they’re having to quarantine or maybe even tested positive on return? Evans I’m guessing is just injured.

Didn't this happen last pre season and a load of them got fined? Ndidi and Perez definitely weren't in pre-season from the off last summer after the club pleaded with players not to go to countries they'd have to quarantine afterwards. Probably happened again.

Not heard definitely what’s happening with the lads that are missing yet but if the rumours are true that Perez and Maddison have missed the start of training because of having to quarantine still, I strongly believe Brendan will do his best to get rid of them.

 

Whether they understand it yet or not, neither of Maddison or Perez are irreplaceable at this point.

It's only 5 days quarantine from Spain isn't it? Surely they wouldn't be stupid enough to misjudge that. More likely that they've tested positive IMO, if it is anything other than them given a extra couple of days for whatever reason.
