Football season is back now, at least there is something else to talk about to pass the time, rather than the endless refreshing of the transfer talk pages just to see if there is a slither of new news
Leicester_Loyal Posted 6 August 2021 Posted 6 August 2021 Only a matter of time until he ends up at a traditional big 6 club, following Chilwell and Grealish. If it's not this summer it'll be next. 2

Arsenal can't approach until they are sure they can raise the money. If they can then it could go through quickly like Grealish. Grealish didn't happen quick. It's been sorted for weeks. But villa wanted to go shopping before it was announced. Had they not they would have been ripped off. 3

jmono84 Posted 6 August 2021 Posted 6 August 2021 I think a fitter stronger Maddison would be sensational! If he manages to stay healthy he’ll shine and in my opinion better than Grealish and Mount. He’s a special talent! 3

We all know by now it's not the end of the world when players leave. Weve lost some incredible talent over the past 5 years and yet still get stronger every season.

I do fear we'll lose 2 key players in one summer eventually. But I've got no fears about our recruitment and replacing them, we're brilliant at it and we'll continue long after world class players leave.

UHDrive Posted 7 August 2021 Posted 7 August 2021 Even if he were leaving this summer which I highly doubt, I'm sure it wouldn't be to go to the runt of the family. So sorry, I meant the bottom of the "big 6"....

Bazly Posted 7 August 2021 Posted 7 August 2021 I think the little Wes injury made a Madders transfer a whole lot more likely to fund an emergency buy at the back.

We were already planning to but a CB. The only difference it will make is that we’ll probably get another one on loan too.

Don't think we were like to entertain the idea of selling him anyway unless a really high bid came in. Rodgers keeps saying this is his season to shine, and any new additions are always a gamble no matter their reputation before the move. We have lost one of our starting 11 through injury. We won't be looking to lose another through a sale.
Sly Posted 7 August 2021 Posted 7 August 2021 Roy Keane steering the pot. Stating Arsenal would be a step backwards for Maddison. 1
mozartfox Posted 7 August 2021 Posted 7 August 2021 They are warming up on Arsenal Mania to the fact they may have to pay 60m. We WILL be spending is the tone now. So LCFC have zero say in all this. 1
