For me the return to fitness and form of Maddison Ricardo & Barnes the most pleasurable thing of all. None of them at 100% yet but Ricardo closer than at any time last season! Barnes was relatively average before his brilliant goal, while Madders just looks to be moving freely again.

No doubt the Perez haters will be out in force, but he was fine, and is currently the best we have for that position in our 4231.

Hope Barnes gets another 20/25 minutes!

God I love Ricardo and it’s so nice to see him back to his best. I still think he’s our best player when on top form. I’d argue he’s world class. X

I’m just teasing you though. I’ve been thoroughly impressed by him. He’s no Gosens or Ricardo but based on tonight he looks like a great signing!

Ricardo is back. Harvey is back. Bertrand can truly deliver a free kick. Young players 10-20% improvement/development over last season. I haven’t even mentioned Fofana, who is already outstanding!!!
