Thought he was excellent with the ball at his feet.

Had a couple of nervy moments but looked down to lack of match sharpness.

he is also absolutely massive - will definitely help in both boxes!

One very astute pass in particular.

Following today, Amartey will play few further Premier League games.   He lacks confidence and is unable to use his skill set.

Vestergaard will be alongside Soyuncu until Evans returns

I suspect he' ll do ok.

I'd love to see you do a better job, considering you obviously know exactly what he needs to get even better?

Clown.

Oh, you’re happy with trying to see out a 1-0 at home vs Wolves yeah?  And I’m the clown?  Ok, I can handle that.

Total disaster. We only won 1 nil. Shambles. Rodgers out.

What a ****ing miserable doom merchant.

I saw two today, both picked out Tielemans beautifully and would have been perfect splitting Slavia open for example who came to defend both wings when we played them.

Having a central defender who can start attacks will be huge.

He slightly mistimed one header but people are seeing what they want to see, presumably so they can say 'I told you so'.

Normal.

Miserable? No

Doom merchant? No

Truth - hurts 🤣

It is game management like that which cost us points we don’t need to drop against better teams.

I’m delighted with the win. I think Brendan, as stated, is a good manager. However I feel that fear of failure gnaws at him and this comes out in some odd and negative decisions.

As this is a forum we are both entitled to our opinions. If mine don’t sit right with you then fair enough.

Er yes. Indeed I would be delighted to see out 19 1-0s at home.

Yes, obviously. Was it comfortable? We’re you happy with it and the way we played 2nd half?  I don’t think so really, if you’re honest. But as I say, it’s a forum, so we’re all entitled to an opinion.

18 yard box is a defenders job but a defenders nightmare. So what that he wasn't on his game. He certainly gave everything hecould and I thought he generally played well. Once he gets used to the players around him he'll be fine.

To the naysayers - I don't think he'd have made it this far in his career both PL and internationally by not knowing how to head a ball - he's with a new team for christ sake.

His forward through balls were delicious though and we've not had that in a defender since maguire left.

We weren't great, but we have to bear in mind that teams don't turn up to roll over. Wolves are a decent team, and always a tough game for us. Great result, vindicating Rodgers' decisions.

Poor guy, sounds like it was not a  planned debut, at least not that early.  lol

Did ok, and will get better with more time training and playing with everyone

No, after the match Rodgers said he was only planning on giving him 5/10 minutes at the end.

I didn't realise how big he was. Adama looked somewhat normal alongside him. Explains comments about his lumbering lilt! Seems a little slow but definitely adds presence. Interesting to see if he is used as an 18 yard defender only by Rodgers giving Soyuncu license to play higher up, like in the opposition corner flag for example...
