People booed because they wanted to show Rogers their anger. It’s not personal because we’ve no idea about his personality, it’s because fans believe it makes us worse as a team.

He had brought on a 6.7 defender because West Ham had push Craig Dawson forward. Why then was Vestergaard not instructed to mark him at the corner then, bonkers decision.

Because BR is lying about that being the reason.

He loves to **** around with the back line when winning, it's a habit of his, and he thought he could do that this time and see out the win. If he could **** about with the back line and we win the game it would justify the continual attempts.

Really bad behaviour, really childish and pathetic, and people wonder why some call our fans entitled. This hate campaign vitriol has very limited basis and is done to be a group thing, it’s incredibly stupid, self serving and achieves the opposite of what the dumb asses expect. Booing him as he comes on ffs.

As others have already said above, the boos were more at BR’s decision that Vestergaard himself. Youri shouldn’t have been taken off full stop.

Was a banner held up to make that clear?

How long is his contract? I mean you never know he may turn it around just like I may win the lottery one day! All that said I'd start him on Thursday because you know, Danish friends.

Amartey didn’t handle his man, that’s why we conceded. What’s Vestergaard supposed to do? Refuse to come on to appease you?

Not duck under the ball and let it reach Dawson in the first place?

I think it entirely fair to heap praise on him when he delivered. Two 5th place finishes and the elusive first FA Cup win were excellent and I am so grateful to him for that but his continued inability to take personal responsibility for poor decision making in game management is now starting to seriously grate on me. It shows a fixed mindset. We see that so clearly with his failure to address our set piece issues. Todays result is on him.

Just incredible!

irrespective of your thoughts regarding vestergard as a player, booing as he came on was so incredibly wrong on so many levels.

We needed cool heads not players panicking over a chorus off boos. He misplaced two paces IMO because of the added pressure.

and for those saying we boo the choice not the player, how the **** does he know that?

so many creatures in our fanbase.

And I’m not surprised. Why would he want to clap fans that boo him coming on? lol

Not every fan booed him on but anyway if you are a well rewarded pro footballer, you man up and take your medicine.

I never thought we would find someone that challeneges Junior Lewis for levels of ineptitude. He has no positives as a footballer.

he can't jump

He can't pass

he can't defend

he isn't strong

and worst of all he is so slow we could pick someone at random in the stadium to race him and its a toss up as to who wins.

Before anyone says hieght the average person (let alone the average athlete) can jump a foot and a half so being 6 foot 7 doesn't help when you have a 7 inch vertical jump.

True say but it doesn’t give him a boost of confidence coming onto the field of play so late on in the game.
