Fabinho deliberately played the ball, there’s no two ways about it. I can’t believe they’ve reached that decision

Exactly. He goes sliding in for the ball. What's not deliberate about that?

It’s not even difficult, it’s touched two Liverpool players after the Real player and Fabinho is clearly sliding in to play the ball, what about it isn’t an intentional play on the ball?

Looked to me like the Real player did touch it forward when he was off, the fact it then subsequently comes off the Liverpool player would then be irrelevant.

Why?

It doesn't matter surely if Benzema was off when the Real player initially touched it.

Scousers. Dier.

Refs. Dier.

Champions league final. Dier

Had much more fun watching the vanarama earlier. Why do sad bastards put such a premium on being hard to beat

Score goals lads, its dead fun

There’s grey areas for everything isn’t there? Just make some clear rules because that could be either or…… it bounces off Fabinho’s leg, so surely it’s a goal? It’s not a deflection…..

Resets if the Liverpool player is considered making a play at the ball. Given the nature of Fabinho’s challenge it was that rather than a deflection

Because Benzema was off when the Real player touched it forward. So what happens after is irrelevant.

I'll be honest it's a confusing one but I can see why they gave it as offside.

Surely it's dead ball as soon as a player is offside in that position?
