I've not bothered, too much hassle and I doubt we'll be able to go anyway. Warsaw was the one I wanted to go but by the time they make the annoucement it'll be about 20 days away.

Just gonna enjoy the home games and pray that by February/March we're in a completely different situation, but honestly, I doubt we will be, not for another season or two.

My sentiments as well, though the optimist in me says there is an outside chance of going to Naples in December.

On our website for the Napoli game it says Home fans only - but I note you can't buy tickets where the away end would be.

Let's buy some tickets in their end see how that goes down!

Of course it would do now... no decision has been made.

I dunno, I think there's little between us. Both of us would've been hoping to avoid each other though the more you look around, the more you feel that it would be a real shock if it wasn't us two going through.

Was mentioned earlier in this thread but I listen to that totally football show and the Russian journo on it went on a rant today specifically about the state of Spartak Moscow. We ought to be beating them comfortably, really.

Napoli will be hard though. It's a good squad and a hard place to go to. A win away there in-particular would be seriously impressive. Top spot gets a bye to the round of 16 now which would keep things competitive.

Surely there is a number of Napoli, Warsaw and Moscow fans living in the U.K. who would like to attend as away fans.  Shouldn’t the club provide an away end of some size for those people ??.

im not sure about the number of Lcfc supporters resident in Italy, Poland and Moscow!

we are legitimately better than Napoli btw... dunno why everyone thinks otherwise. Napoli have a lot more european experience though.

Experience is huge though. We got beaten by Slavia Prague, whereas Arsenal dealt with them comfortably in the end, despite being a worse team that us. We should be in much better shape this season, winning the FA Cup was huge for our confidence and despite not playing well in many games this calendar year, we have got a knack of grinding out results and seeing out games. When we are away from home and protecting a narrow lead, that experience will be vital.

But for me the reason why we aren't favourites for the competition yet is because we don't have that proven European pedigree. However, if we keep competing in Europe it will come and actually though everyone is disappointed in not making the Champions League it might be better to go straight into the Europa because if we were in the Champions League unless we got another easy group I think we'd have found ourselves in the Europa anyway!

I do think that we need to go far in the competition this season though. The draw is hugely dependant on that, but with our squad we should really be thinking about last 4. If we can do that, then I think we would be ready for Champions League football if it comes.

One great thing about the Napoli games though is that they would be worthy of being the final itself based on the quality of players at both teams disposal. So both games should be a great watch no matter the results.

I didn’t realise the last 16/top spot tweak until a few weeks ago.

It’s actually a pretty significant change and as you say will provide a big incentive to keep the group stage competitive.

The round of 16 doesn’t start until almost mid-March…might even have Fofana back by then

Leicester handed boost ahead of Italian clash

The Foxes will be keen to kick their Europa League campaign off with a win, and may well have been handed a triple boost.

This comes as a result of quarantine rules upon coming to England after the international break, with travellers having to quarantine for ten days in a hotel if they arrive from a red list country.

As per Italian outlet CalcioMercarto, three Napoli players are set to fall foul of this rule, in the form of Victor Osimhen, David Ospina and Kalidou Koulibaly. Koulibaly has been an ever-present for the south Italian outfit thus far, while Osimhen was sent off in the season opener.
