Im sorry but that result is just papering over the cracks. They were absolutley horrific on par with the West Ham game. The only reason we got anything from that nevermind a win was because of how bad Norwich are.

6 points we've barely deserved, but nobody will care when looking at the league table at the end of the season. Now we have the international break to try to find some better form.

We look absolutely abysmal at the back. Problems going forward to but for me I am far more concerned about our backline.  Amartey was average at best, Soyunchu weak and careless and even Luke Thomas was turned around quite a bit. Absolutely shit housed a win - Norwich deserved a draw. 

 

I've never welcomed an international break so much. Hopefully Bertrand, Vestergaard, and Riccy are okay to resume then. Evans too but that might be too much to ask. We cannot have THIS backline up against Man City. We will be pumped 5-0. At least.

This. When players are that out of form they need to feel their places are under threat. It makes everyone better.

BR needs to change it up and get Soumare in and give Daka a chance alongside Vardy. Can't keep using the injury to Evans as an excuse. Too many players are under performing.

We're fortunate to have had this fixture list to start the season. 6 points is very generous considering our three performances so far.

 

That said, I think we should only improve from here. Ricardo getting injured is very bad news though.

Yeah we've got a better squad now so there's no excuse for playing players out of form. Barnes and Maddison had poor games today, Nacho when he came on looked great, even if he fluffed his lines for a goal right at the end.

 

IMO against Wolves and Norwich we've got away with carrying passengers, but there's no need for it unless we get even more injuries.

 

I like KDH, but would argue that Nacho should start ahead of him instead of Maddison, even if the formation changes. That second goal came from interplay between him and Vardy. In fact when he came on the pitch I felt we started looking creative again. Two up top always makes the team look unbalanced, but I do feel it gives us a more direct threat and we seem to score plenty of goals from it.

 

That said I wouldn't be against starting Nacho and KDh ahead of Barnes and Maddison based on form, but don't see that happening till the Europa games start.

The back 4 problems will be a knock on for how we are attacking. Evans and fofana are good on the ball. Hopefully by Man City we will have Bertrand and at least one of vestergaard or evans back.
