Seems to have pulled his hamstring when he ran and played that ball into Vardy for the 1st goal

He was back on the bench and had his thigh wrapped up so hopefully nothing major.  Rob Tanner was concerned that he may have tweaked the knee but it looks like thigh or hamstring.

I've never felt concerned like this after a win before. When you scrape an undeserved 3 points it usually feels like an added bonus but I just feel so glass half empty atm.

I can't see this season being anything other than an absolute slog unless we pull something insane out of our backside in the transfer market this week. Defence is threadbare, with no realistic sign of returnees. Midfield look shattered/lost/shadows of themselves, we've no wingers in form (I know MA scored but that's his quota for the season now), and we may have 3 top strikers but one will be burnt out before the other 2 get a start. The squad is unbalanced, we treat set pieces like they don't count and the team effort and cohesion just seems to have vanished.

You know when you just feel something isn't right? I know we face Championship fodder every season and bend over for them, but all 3 performances so far this season tell me we're not gonna be at the races.

Someone tell me to get a grip and remember where we were 10 years ago please 🤦‍♂️🥴

I always said it was going to be tougher this season , there will be no easy matches. However if you can win against the run of play that is a good sign. If you expect us to win in style you are going to be disappointed - often.

Picking up points despite not being at our best is the sign of a good team.  The performances will improve.

Oh come on mate. I'm happy with the win but we were playing a dreadful side, let's be honest. There's no way they'll even come close to staying up.

Cannot wait to get some defensive depth back in to this team

Brendan likes having his centre halves starting the play from the back - big crossfield passes to the wingers/overlapping full backs or passes through the lines in the middle helping to break the block

Having Amartey (who doesn't pass well) and Cags (who is a bombscare without an experienced partner) really nullifies how we play

I am sure once Vestergaard and Jonny are back and we have some more options available to us and Cags can have someone a bit more experienced next to him the attacking and progressive play will be better

We managed to limp over the line, hopefully we improve after the break.

As for Norwich I think they need a new manager, at 1-1 he takes of their main striker instead of going for the win, we were vulnerable and the commentator mentions he had been doing that for the entire season they were last in the EPL as well.

It’s about time we had a result like that!! Absolutely no way we were winning that then binked it from nowhere! Great feeling great result!!

6 points from those 3 is a great situation I think.

Onto the negatives though, we were absolutely awful! Like so so so bad!

We control the game in the middle but absolutely no creativity and very vulnerable at the back, and we were playing a team who I think we will soon see will go down by a mile!

Barnes looks a shadow of himself, can’t beat a guy and a flimsy final product, worried about him!

madders wtf is going on? Awful.

We really need a new winger with pace just as an option, we are too static and that is the biggest reason we don’t create much for a long time now.

I knew at the time letting Demari Gray might bite us and he’s looking good so far and someone who would walk into our team atm in a position we’ve needed for months!

Defence also need our injuries back, Amartey and Thomas did ok today but again it’s vs Norwich and they still caused us more than a few scares.

Really makes you appreciate how good Evans and Fofana are when you see this current set up.

All in all great result considering but we need to really sort it out because we will be lucky to get top 10 based on performances so far.

Really gutted, he has in recent games started to look more and more like his old self.

Marc albrighton was the last person i would have thought would slot that away but im glad he did, we still looked ropey but points are what matters and we got all 3. hopefully ricardo going off was a precaution to look after him. hes been looking our best player so far

Can't help but question our pre season?

I think we seemed to start atleast week or even 2 weeks behind many other teams.

Now I hear Rodgers talking about fitness and saying "We'll get fitter".

To add injuries on top of that are we working too hard in training trying to make up, instead of gradual build up as well as our players looking very flat and tired? :dunno:

It's hard as many players didn't join up till later being away with their international teams but even so with the players we had available at the time we must have been one of the latest clubs to start our pre season.
