He'd be a great squad player as back up to Barnes.

I'm still very hopeful of getting Coutinho or Neres in as well. Both there clubs seem desperate to get rid of them and transfer deadline is less than 30 hours away, no reason why we couldn't get Lookman + 1 other.

Always thought Maradona and Messi would have been world class if only they had a right foot.

He who thinks Messi is one footed pays a heavy price.

Just because you’ve been relegated doesn’t automatically mean you’re a bad player.

Maguire turned out well didn’t he

Did anyone really think after Daka Vestergaard and Soumare we were going to spunk out on a right winger. As someone alluded to, we have two right wingers and one left winger. Albrighton and Perez are not going anywhere. People hate Perez but he's not being sold is he so we are stuck with him. It's not FIFA we can't just stockpile players we have a wage budget we need to name a certain amount of players etc etc. Signing Lookman is not exciting but a no risk signing to cover for Barnes and he can okay with sides or through the middle. People on here need to get real. The big clubs stutter they sign 100m players, we can't do that so this signing fits our model.

Yeah I get ya. but that rw spot could be the difference with champions league football and money.

Please do not buy - Lookman didn't even make it in the German Bundesliga.

He is better than Perez, but not much better than Gray. LCFC should invest 30m and buy Daniel James.

91% of touches with his left footed. He might be good with his right but he rarely uses it.

I saw him score a superb goal for Argentina with his right foot. Killed a long pass with  it and stroked the ball past the goalkeeper while moving at pace. Its always there when he needs it.

Mainly just to stand on though.

Well at least it will give Barnes a much needed kick up the backside and if Barnes was to get injured, we don’t need to completely change formation like last season.

In theory I like the 4-2-3-1 formation where we have a more defensive right mid, to give us good balance and I have faith in Albrighton, however it is relying on the number 10 (Maddison) to be effective, and from what I’ve seen since he came back from injury last season, I’m really not convinced

I saw Lloyd Dyer score a superb goal with his right foot against Bolton. Mahrez's goal away at Man City in 15/16 didn't stop you from saying he was one-footed did it?

Yep I can see why you'd say that, a real quality winger could be the thing that gets us over the line to Champions League football -

Underwhelmed but willing to give him a chance. Has premier league experience and under the right guidance might kick on. Could be a shrewd signing. Hope we’d be in for another as well but seems unlikely

Mixed feelings about this.

When Walsh and Rangnick both rate the same player, it’s likely he has some quality. And he has shown in glimpses some of his clear potential. And we know Rodgers likes to work with young, skilful, pacy British players with something to prove and he has a strong record of development.

But if we have been influenced by his performance against us, that is concerning as more often than not, it doesn’t work out - for every Ulloa, you at least have a Perez.

And Demi Gray, now I think about it.

Some master statistician could probably do the numbers, I bet it tends towards being a bad omen.

If we sign him we just have to back him and trust this is the best we could achieve. Overall it’s been a great window at a challenging time. Perspective! I remember Andy Impey being our best bet for creativity down the flank!

I don’t think we can fit another into the squad? Certainly not in EL. Even if we sell Praet, Hamza and Benkovic
