Alf1977 Posted 17 October 2021 Posted 17 October 2021 Why is it Wednesday with that ridiculous KO time instead of Thursday?

Wymsey Posted 17 October 2021 Posted 17 October 2021 (edited) Was initially believing that I'd know none of their players, only to discover via Wikipedia that Victor Moses plays for them. He would still be quite decent in the Premier League. Edited 17 October 2021 by Wymsey
reynard Posted 17 October 2021 Posted 17 October 2021 Anything but a win will leave us with a mountain to climb. Lose and we're pretty much out. I know nothing about them but they beat Napoli so can't be too shoddy.

Lokomotiv are at home on the Thursday v Galatasaray. The kick off time avoid clashes with Champions League and assists with time zone differences 1

Surely its a good thing given we're playing on Sunday. I wouldn't be very hopeful for our chances if we were playing Thursday evening and then travelling back from Russia.

fuchsntf Posted 17 October 2021 Posted 17 October 2021 (edited) Its Early season, Nobody should be tired.. Don t get too clever...Play the same " pumped up" team...injuries permitting.. And the others should now fight for the right. They will get their chances, also the League cup is around the corner, and other days deeper into the season will automatically see the necessity for Tweets & rotation plus injury cover.. Plus subs with cameos, are just as important & Major Part of the team make up... Edited 17 October 2021 by fuchsntf 1

Popular Post Sunbury Fox Posted 18 October 2021 Popular Post Posted 18 October 2021 (edited) Shocked that so many of us are advocating 5 or 6 changes for this. This is an incredibly difficult match away to a team used to playing in Europe in what will be a very hostile atmosphere. What is the point spending a season slogging our guts out, fighting against the odds to get into Europe in front of much bigger, wealthier clubs only to risk our chances by reintroducing a number of out of form players in a crucial group match, just so that we can save our best players for a game on Sunday that is way less significant at this stage of the season? Make no mistake, a loss or even a draw here and it will be the Euro Conference at best for us after Xmas. Even if we lose at Brentford we have 29 more games left in the PL to achieve our aims. In the EL, we need to win at least 3 of the last 4 to have any chance of qualifying. That has to be prioritised on this occasion. Edited 18 October 2021 by Sunbury Fox 11
