Although they are current Polish league champions they are absolutely dreadful, 17th (out of 18) in the league with 3 wins and 9 losses from 12

Hopefully be like against Zorya last season, bottle it at their place but a comfortable win at home

They've lost every game (7 in a row) since they turned us over.

Ah well good thing they have us next then, probably the best chance they have of getting a win lol

No one better than us to come up against then is there.

These are shite. Utter shite.

Unforgivable if we don't win this.

...unless we get to grip with the style of play in Europe, we will struggle!!!

Rodgers still being outdone by a way of playing he is unable to come to terms with. It is surprising but with all his European excursions he still struggles.

Pfffft

The entitlement of some in this thread!

wanting us to win at home with the 17th team of Polish ekstraklasa who've lost 7 games in a row since we played them?

Seriously guys you need to look in a mirror and stop being such overachievers

Ffs!!!

I know Kasper will be in but imagine if we had a keeper who could come off his line for corners!! This boy is like 6’20 or something like that

Well picking 10 players is certainly resting one too many in my opinion.

Can't help but feel it'll be the last time we'll see our club (at home) in Europe for quite a while.

Except for a conference league knockout defeat to Dynamo Minsk early next year, you mean?

Kasper

Ricardo (if fit)

Soyuncu

Evans

Castagne

Ndidi

Dewsbury-Hall

Maddison

Iheanacho

Daka

Lookman

Vardy looked to have had a knock or some tightness so think he'll be rested.

Castagne to play RB if Ricardo not fit. Bertrand as LB if so.

Have to start quick and get in their faces from the off. Take some initiative!

Bertrand should never be anywhere near our team ever again. Rather play Jakupovic at left back.

I wonder who our caretaker will be for this...

There is only one man for the job... moved away from the under 23 manager role so he could wait for his moment...

One of those games that if we don't win Rodgers needs his world ending but if we lose then our season is over in terms of our ability to try and obtain CL qualification so do we then just see what happens for a bit longer rather than make a change to try and salvage our season? Our season rides on Thursday.

Tifo you would hope will lift them.

Their better be some sort of effort made that matches the importance of this game!! Moscow pre-match was just diabolical, this is a EUROPEAN night!!! Each and everyone is special!!!

Completely agree, it would be a major over achievement if we beat such a power house of europeon football, and we should have all been delighted with that fantastic point at home to Moscow too. All hail to our great leader, Brendan Rodgers, king of the over achievers.

How do you play Daka, Iheanacho and Maddison without playing someone out of position? It's why we fall into the the wing backs option sinmich. Finding the balance is causing Rodgers so many problems with his selections.

433, Iheanacho playing from a narrow right position. Barnes keeping the width on the left. .

Castagne or Ricardo at right back. Thomas at left back. Amartey and Evans at centre back. Soumare and Ndidi continue in midfield.

Must win, and comfortably.

Again with all that shithousing post match. You’d like to think club, manager and players are up for it. I doubt it.

I’ll use a line a club official said last season pre 2nd leg v Slavia ‘that stuff is below us’. We are bloody PL Reading

I am seriously considering whether or not I want to drive all the way from Kent to Leicester on a Thursday after work for this shit.

You know you will though. I'm aiming to be there after work in Belfast and an afternoon flight to Manchester!
