I think he’s done a pretty decent job since he’s been here, hasn’t he?

I know there was lots of negativity about his appointment when he arrived but that list of names is pretty impressive. Some great arrivals, some not as good, and a few the jury is still out. 
I wish him all the best in Italy.

Not done a terrible job but not done exceptionally well either. Don't think this will massively impact us!

Will be interesting to see who replaces him, and whether Rodgers has as much influence in selecting the new person. Timing of this could be really important, if club makes decision it does weaken Rodgers overall influence and in the event he does leave club in future, infrastructure remains in place.

He's not done as bad as people thought he would.

Interesting though as he was clearly brought in to follow Rodgers.

 

Wonder who we get in place. Someone with a bigger reputation? A better pull in for players?

 

The likes of Castagne, Daka, Fofana, Youri, Justin are negated by Vestegaard, Bertrand, Perez, Bennett.

If you take out the frees Under, Lookman, Bennett, Bertrand which is bargain bin shopping and Tielemans because he was already in the building.  

 

It leaves this:

 

Excellent business Fofana, Justin, Daka

Good: Castagne

OK: Praet, Perez, Soumare

BAD: Vestergaard,

 

You could stick Perez in bad for value for money.

 

Good out weighs the bad for me.

 

Let be honest people made the mind up about the guy before he arrived.

I'm not sure why folks are so pleased to be shot of him. He's brought in some pretty good signings, no? Perez, Bennett, Bertrand and Vestergaard are the big misses so far, but that's harsh on Perez and the other three should have been better than they were/are. They just don't seem to fit Rodgers' system, oddly.

From listening to that Matt Mills interview I wouldn't be surprised if Perez was signed purely by Rodgers so he could speak Spanish to someone!

I think Soumaré is still too early to tell to be honest. Lots of developing still to do.

Not as bad as I expected him to be. This summer has been the worse for us while he's been here but aside from that Fofana, Justin, Castagne, Daka have all impressed while Perez is a good squad player for us.
