He struggles badly under pressure. Perhaps worryingly he still struggles like this even though he's been with us for a number of months now and had plenty of game time. It's strange because he definitely has the skill and physicality to deal with it, he just needs to release the ball faster and smarter.

 

Look back the first goal though, that was what he can do at his best. Brilliant interception, used his composure to take a few players out of the game and then played it simply to a team mate which led to the goal.

Shame for Ricky, thought he was playing really well.

 

I'm certain Liverpool will score again at least once, we still need another goal I think.

Still can’t believe Morton got away with that tackle on Ricardo. Absolute shocker, far worse than the one on Robertson by Kane that the scousers were screaming about on Sunday. The fact it actually injured him makes it even worse.

The quality between the sides is showing. This is what we should have done to Legia in both games.

 

This is a poor Liverpool team, no matter how much people pretending they know about football will tell you its a "tough" game.

 

Refreshing to see the lads step up and create some good chances.

 

Same again 2nd half, would love 5 or 6. Patson needs a goal or two as well

Some half of football that. Obviously helps when you are coming out on top but I don't think we've been involved in such a end to end game for a long time..

 

All over them at the back, forcing mistakes and winning the ball back. Dewsbury-hall has been excellent, Daka working his bollocks off and Vardy is up for it. Hope we won't regret missing the 4th chance. 

 

I have no faith that we will see it out but it's been enjoyable.

I like this system, still needs fine tuning as Tielemans at times isn't involved as much as he'd ordinarily be playing in a double pivot but I love how it's seemingly helped us press collectively better and then our overall movement throughout the entire team seems to be encouraged. 

 

Sounare a bit sloppy so far but he's still won the ball for us in dangerous turn overs and looks better than he did several weeks ago.

 

That goal from Maddison is obscene, the audacity of the man.

 

Hope Vardy can get his hattrick, he's having a few very poor one on one misses recently. Seems better with less time to think.

Very good performance so far, high press counter attack is what we do best.

 

Really liking the look of the diamond we look dangerous every time Maddison gets on the ball.

 

Real shame for Ricky not sure how that was not a red card though.

Why did Rodgers leave Rico out there  he could barely walk and Marc on the bench.Anyway may have found a good 44 kin 2 team when we have the ball Vardy and Daka are very nasty,Maybe Evans in place of Soumo but looks decent.KDH doing well

Still worried this ref will have a say in this match, 3-1 up but he has been awful and the lad should have gone for the shocking challenge on Ricky P and also should have had a 2nd yellow for the foul on Soumare just before half time but the ref bottled it

I wasn't posting cos my stream is a bit laggy, but Ricardo looked done straight after that tackle.  ANOTHER defensive injury. 

 

KDH, Daka, Vardy, Madders and Ndidi standing out.

 

Albrighton been good since he came on, too. 

 

People saying its a Liverpool C team - it's got Firminho, Minamino,  Henderson and Gomez.

 

And yes, we can only beat what is in front of us.

 

Score again and I might just feel comfortable.
