He’s a bad egg. He’s technically limited. He’s old.

we should steer well clear.

laughable that we have fans that would happily let ayew leave for free but would sign windass

I know nothing though so my comment is not to be taken seriously, we just need a busy player up front for a season or 2, and from what ive seen of him he does that. Maybe not very ambitious but I think thats where we're at, maybe ayew could also do that job

There are transfer priorities, though they will not be easy to realise, with Leicester targeting a striker, a left-sided midfielder and a No6, as well as a goalkeeper if Mads Hermansen departs.

Pleasantly surprised that we are looking at these three positions. Particularly a striker. I know none of this may come to fruition, but to even hear we are looking for one gives me hope. Genuinely wasn't confident the club would even think we needed one :sweating:

Left-sided mid must be a left-footed CM (winger doesn't make sense unless Mavididi is nailed on to leave). No6 is interesting, but is absolutely needed. Winks and/or Ndidi to move on then perhaps. These two positions imply we're looking to rebuild the midfield, which I 100% can get onboard with. We desperately need a refresh there. Was like a wet paper bag last season.

They wanted KWP because he was free.

With one year left though, if he's game for it I think they'd settle somewhere around half that.  He's got to want it himself though first and foremost.  Could be playing Europa League next season though.

He may be 2nd choice either side at the minute, so incentive for him to go elsewhere.

No chance we get €13m let alone £s. If Besiktas are the buyers then they will probably offer 50p in installments over 5 years.

I'd be happy at 5m euros for him to be honest. Area we're well stocked in and he's been off his best for years

£13 million would make him Besiktas second most expensive signing ever.. They very very rarely spend over €10m..

I think Justin has been broadly good for us and seems like a decent guy, but anything approaching £7-10m has to be considered imo..

I thinks it's fairly obvious that this will end up being a loan.  The only question is the loan fee.  How much will Rudkin pay?

He’s out of contract at the end of the season though, so a loan would be completely pointless. I’ve no issue with Soumare or Daka disappearing on loan never to be seen again, but Justin is versatile and unless we get a fee for him we might as well use him

Can see him leaving this time, has been more of a squad player for a while now and massively exposed in the Prem this year.

Would like to think it signals Ricardo staying as first choice, Hamza and Coulibaly as the alternate options, with Thomas and probably a loan for LB.

Last year £5m - £7m probably enough as he'll be on a decent wage and wouldn't be in the starting 11 right now.

Of course.

I'm not saying what should happen, just what likely will happen.

Without looking I'd guess he was probably top 3 at least for minutes played in the league last season for us

He actually played the most, which says a lot. Still think he's a squad player been made to play more because Ricardo was injured and Coulibaly not good enough / not given the chance.

Hoping we keep him and offer him a new deal - I think he comes in for unfair criticism by some. Reliable, steady and at his best quality.

Renew that £80k/£100k a week contract? Yeah why not.

I am not sure I can see JJ playing in Turkey tbh.

I think he would be interested , Tammy Abraham has signed for them on loan. They have some decent players , playing in Istanbul would be an experience, and he does well could end up in a higher league again.

Harsh, I don't think anybody is saying he should be offered that kind of money again.
