This league genuinely is corrupt ain’t it? I’ve slowly come to terms with this over the years, some call it incompetence but I’m sure there’s been a pattern over many years possibly born out of sub-conscious bias where the outcomes are the same as pure unadulterated corruption!

Sounds strange but they probably need the win more we do to keep up their shot at a top 6 and even their outside chances at a top 4 finish whereas we arent even challenging for top 7.

 

Maybe that pressure might make them more open? Clutching at straws as Lage seems to have them well drilled.

Play on the front foot please! Who’s gunna be left back tomorrow with Thomas a doubt? Ricardo switched to left back or stick with albrighton? Shane Flynn in with a chance of playing left back?

On the basis:we need Maddison and Barnes in our side for falir; KDHi is a phenomenon; Albrighton was an ever present in a league winning team and has improved since;  Pereira is on his way back to his imperious best:Thomas is a fine prospect: Maddison is unbelievably good: Daka could tear up the league; Tilemans is class...

I would say , I can't  believe I have left out Tielemans, Lookman, Iheanacho  (in an injury crisis) and we still could lose because of our centre backs.

We have much better players than them imo but they're a prime example of a team that are well organised and know their roles.  Our play is erratic and off the cuff
