Block this move and get a new manager to asses the situation.

Absolutely. This has got Rodgers style distraction tactics written all over it. Cags is more useful to us than Mr small man syndrome.

Maybe his confidence is completely shot, regardless of manager. Hasn't looked himself in years, and that's not mentioning the hair being tied up.

And who exactly is responsible for his, and most of the rest of the teams confidence being shot?

Anyone watching us can see it's a malaise that's spreading rapidly.

You gonna get rid of all the team and keep Rodgers?

Zagadou possibly…

Surely would have to get a replacement in if Soy leaves

Know nothing about him, but Denayer? Key traits on fotmob - leadership, team player. Just what we need.

Nah it will be Vesty being promoted from 5th to 4th choice

Top. Do not sanction this transfer.  Rogers must go before Cags.  Cags will return under the correct Manager.

If Rudkin recommends this, get him gone too.

With Rogers gone and Cags back in the fold, that would be an immediate lift to the Club and FANS. This cannot be allowed to happen under any circumstances.

We don't benefit at all from this. I think there is an argument that Soyuncu has mentally gone, regardless of new manager but he is still at the very least 3rd best option.

Rodgers proved with Benkovic that he can't fix broken centre half's that we paid big money for. Watch out Wout.

To be fair Benkovic has played 2 since he left, I think that even Rodgers is innocent on this one.

Sources: Leicester City block Caglar Soyuncu from joining Turkish club today
Leicester City have blocked Caglar Soyuncu from joining a Turkish club ahead of Thursday’s transfer cut-off, sources have told Football Insider.

Besiktas and Galatasaray both made approaches to sign the Turkey international, 26, before that country’s deadline.

Leicester have decided to keep hold of Soyuncu and not let him go as they battle to climb off the bottom of the table.

Soyuncu has yet to feature in the Premier League for Leicester this term and is firmly down the pecking order under Brendan Rodgers.

The defender has been a regular for the Foxes over the last three seasons, making a combined 85 Premier League appearances over those campaigns.

However, after failing to make it onto the pitch from the bench in Leicester’s first five league games of the season, he was dropped from the matchday squad entirely for last weekend’s loss to Brighton.

The Turkey international joined Leicester in August 2018 though he only made eight appearances in that debut season in English football.

He arrived from SC Freiburg after establishing himself as a regular during his two seasons in the Bundesliga.

Soyuncu has made 48 appearances for his country, scoring two goals.

Good. It would have made no sense to let him go without being able to get a replacement.

Probably a really attractive offer too - we pay all his wages and give them a fee for taking him -feckin  Willy pullers

I really hope this was top telling him to do his ****ing job and motivate his players, utilise what's available. Or even better cos he thinks the new manager might get a tune out of him.

Glad they blocked this. Either a kick up the bum to brendan to work with him and the other outcasts or a hold on to Cags that Brendan maybe going 🤞

A motivated Soyuncu is an asset to the club.

Absolutely Right.

He has somehow got on Rodgers bad side & BR will screw him over even though it hurts the team.

Pay him the ten mil & get him gone. He is a cancer at the club.
