I think we should play him on Sunday in a 3. I think he has everything to prove and he has it in his locker, he proved that in the euros, he can also play a decent through ball

Noticed this guy (apart from the injured pair) was the only guy missing from the minutes silence video

Lost so much faith in him the thinking was he’d somehow **** that up too.

We can pay off his contract, we can pay off Bertrand, we can pay off Rodgers. That would tidy things up a bit . It will not happen because we appear to have little or no money. There are still some on here who refuse to accept that.

What was the last game Vestegaard played? I seem to remember he did okay, with some excellent distribution, was he not worth giving more of a chance, it really couldn’t get any worse

If we changed style, he’d be okay.

Brendan won’t change his style.

So we’re stuck playing Amartey and Ndidi as centre backs, rather than the players who were signed to actually play on that position.

I'm not convinced he would be. Yeah his lack of pace is exposed in a high line, but if we were sitting deep and inviting pressure and balls into the box then it'd be the fact he's a complete fanny getting exposed instead.

Got to be Ukraine, or have they suffered enough?

There is zero benefit to paying off Vestegaard and Bertrand unless they are prepared to take less than they are owed. It's clear they are not prepared to do that.

I really don’t understand why we are getting our knickers in a twist about him. He came here it didn’t work out but he trains every day against our attacking players , someone has to unless people are naive to think our first team training only includes iall first teamers. The NFL pay contacts of $150000 each a year for a squad just to train against the big boys. We need to think there is a team and also very importantly a squad

Leicester went after him, overpaid for him  & then overpaid him. The problem here lies 100% in the lap of LCFC !!

The club need to have stops & checks in place to control this regardless of who recommended the player.

Obviously the pay check is very important to the player and secures the future for him and his family. The club are the ones that shat the bed !!

Think it’s even more than the figure you have suggested for NFL players and I agree with the notion regarding a competitive squad. But with Vestegaard we could just use a mannequin instead, as a cheaper alternative.

Not a clue how he thought staying with us and being about 10th choice is a better sporting option than going to Fulham - although I bet they are happy they didn't get him in the end

The centre-back told Danish outlet BT:

“I don’t want to specifically talk about numbers but I have also heard myself; that some speculated that I stayed at Leicester because of the wages.

“But it was never about the money.

“I don’t know where this kind of thing comes out – it’s pure rubbish.

“There was no difference in the finances.

“At the time, it still seemed like a better sporting option to stay at Leicester.”

Probably thinks Rodgers will go and he'll get another chance with better facilities under a new boss.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he got another chance if we got a new manager that players a deep block 5 at the back kind of system
