I didn’t see one diagonal from the back today. Amartey poor defending, can’t distribute the ball from the back. Brendan’s picked him every game and it’s the same scenario every time. Only himself to blame for selection.

Nacho for Vardy I'm afraid to say next game. Soumare is still useless. Some ok performance, especially Barnes and Castagne.

Takeaways:

 

- For whatever reason, our defence is crap especially when it comes to closing down. Justin and Castagne both guilty although Justin improved later in the second half.

 

- If we can play in the spirited way wanting to win in the second half, I am happy. We could have scored another one or two but unlucky. 

 

- Clearly Nachos must start every game.

 

- Tielemans, if he stays, likes to play like he did in the second half.  Instead of being careless, if he focuses and wants to win, he can still be a crucial player to us.

 

- No more lone striker please. Yes we were playing against 10 men but we were much better after Nachos and Perez came on wit us wanting to attack and win. Just play like that and I won’t complain as much.
