Well I actually thought that’s the best we’ve played in about 12 months.

 

I know we lost, and I know they had 10 men, but at least we showed attacking intent (unlike Roma away) at least we moved the ball quickly, at least we were easy on the eye during those times. We actually looked good for large periods, not the usual insomnia curing pass fest that we serve up. We might’ve been bad today in peoples eye, but fcuk me it was a hell of a lot better than the usual pile of w*nk that people on here seem to perversely enjoy.

 

Obviously we conceded twice to a side with 10 men, but today was proof that another manager will be able to get these very capable players playing much closer to the standard we expect.

Can’t say the players aren’t playing for Brendan. They kept going until the last minute but we are SO bad defensively. How you concede two goals against a team down to 10 I don’t know. Brendan has to go. We’re a shambles defensively and we’re not showing any signs of getting better. His complete refusal to play Syoncu who is clearly a better player than Amartey is baffling.
