I know it was against 10 men but given where we are I think was an excellent performance. A draw would have been a fair result.

Couple of decent saves from Ward otherwise little to do. I thought Castagne was superb, my motm. Youri really is a gifted player; saw the pass and put Vardy in a couple of times. I don't think anyone had a howler. We lost, yes, but I'm pleased with how we approached the game and our effort.

Yeah we played alright for the last 30 minutes but failing to get even a point against 10 men for an hour is really poor, even when playing a big team away.

How many errors from Amartey will it take for Rodgers to give Cags a chance? Again today, he just stood off and watched whilst Sterling picked his spot.

I don’t understand why the **** Brendan insists on playing Amartey over Syoncu. Syoncu pulled out of a 50/50 against spurs. Ok fine. That was shit but get over it. You’re damaging the entire team by playing a lesser player.

Also, why decide away at Chelsea when you know they have plenty of quality to give Soumare a go at CDM?! Why not ease him in at home against a Fulham or Bournemouth or whatever.

Its just been consistently bad management from him now for over a year. Top, seriously, there are 2 or 3 brilliant managers out of jobs at the moment and if we don’t for one of them someone else will and that’ll be our chance wasted.

Do the right thing and sack BR now.

Well I actually thought that’s the best we’ve played in about 12 months.

I know we lost, and I know they had 10 men, but at least we showed attacking intent (unlike Roma away) at least we moved the ball quickly, at least we were easy on the eye during those times. We actually looked good for large periods, not the usual insomnia curing pass fest that we serve up.

Obviously we conceded twice to a side with 10 men, but today was proof that another manager will be able to get these very capable players playing much closer to the standard we expect.

Yes it was a better performance but let’s be realistic, that is one of the poorest Chelsea starting 11 that they have had in the last 15 years and to then not beat them with 10 men is criminal (we had enough chances).

their first goal was poor as amartery gave him too much space to shoot, the second is as woeful as it gets, we don’t stop the cross coming in at the front post and we switch off at the back post.

Just not good enough, simple as that. We can't concede 2 goals every game and expect to get points.

Only really watched the last half hour and thought Perez did alright but if he's your biggest creative outlet then you're in trouble.

On his own Vardy isn't good enough, needs players around him. On another day he scores but finishing lacks any sort of conviction currently. Missing Madders was huge with the way the game turned out.

This week will decide if Rodgers has a future here, either he gets some quality in or we are only going one way under him.

And having a shit defence

Shit finishing was more at fault today Col, Vardy should’ve had a hat-trick.

Amartey is not a starting centre back for a Premier League team, not in a 2 or a 3.

I know we've been screwed over by Fofana but I can't understand his continued selection.

Needs sacking for keep picking Amartey. An awful, awful footballer that shouldn’t be near any starting 11 in the Premier League

Don't let our stranger fans read this, he's some sort of cult hero to them. 'Big Dan' blah blah........

I think the players were enjoying the handbrake coming off at 55 minutes, no DM and proper support for Vardy is unheard in some time.

Agreed

We looked a completely different side to the one that’s been forced on us for a year or so

Had a productive afternoon and missed the game as I said in the match thread, nice to hear we played better then previous games but to go 2 down against a team with 10 men and no manager on the sideline should be the last straw

I wish I had the confidence of those who think we won't be in a relegation fight

Too many passengers every game.

Amartey isn't good enough. Justin isn't good enough. Evans is past it.

We don't take our chances when we get them and we can't defend.

Can't see how we get the number or quality of players we need to stay up given our financial issues.

need a left back, centre back (at least  1 and maybe 2), right wing, ball winning central midfielder who can break the defensive line, and quite possibly another striker.

Not looking good. Too many issues that have been going on too long and the management team don't appear to know how to sort them out.

Time for a change and it needs to happen quickly.
