Praise the Lord for a manager who is like Rodgers but worse than Rodgers.

Faes MOTM

Wardy, impeccable. Benefiting fro a team that gave him what he needed for once.

Youri, played like he could thanks to the WC manager turning up.

Leeds were terrible but we will take the points. Terrible game and hardly a shot on target by both sides.

Won't play many more sides that bad at home. Be interesting to see how the next run of games go

Rodgers out

We were better.

You can only play what's infront of you but **** me Leeds were awful.

Unfortunately, that papers over craters once again, that gives him another month, atleast, and probably beyond the WC.

Great result tonight was impressed a few times with Soumare but at sometimes looked a huge Liability at times !

A few have stood up and be counted tonight after some awful performances in the past few games Especially Wardy !

We just need to build on it. No point analysing it too deeply, some good moments some not so good moments. But we’ve kept a clean sheet and looked fairly comfortable.

I still don’t like Soumare in midfield he is far too passive when defending.

There was inherently a lot more balance and solidity in the team tonight.
The problem will now come putting Maddison back in this team.

The only way he will fit back is with sacrificing the spirit and forward momentum from KDH and Youri.

There is just something with Praet on the right that added skill and balance that was much needed.

Special mention to Ward tonight that had so much confidence and calmness that has been lacking so far.

The boy Faes is growing into this team. We looked pretty solid at the back tonight. Even Amartey looked reasonably competent. My main concern though is Justin he loses possession so often, and is easily muscled off the ball. Let’s not forget Danny Ward, he was pretty much faultless tonight.

So what we reckoning? Best team something like this?

                   Ward

Castagne Faes Amartey Justin

             Ndidi Tielemans

    Praet Maddison Barnes

                   Vardy

(Obviously Evans and Ricardo if they were fit)

Had a feeling Evans had been a problem and results in his absence suggest so. Praet was good as well, but most of all, the players worked their socks off. That's what we need to survive.

Fancy Maddison would either go or replace Youri as he leaves

The only negatives I can have is that KDH wasn't brought off earlier, and that with some of the counter attacks we had, it genuinely could have been at least 4-0 or 5-0 if we weren't so wasteful. Not many other teams will be so generous in gifting us possession so many times.

Win and a clean sheet for the defence and Ward is something to definitely be pleased about though!

Maybe,,,KDH was asked to run himself silly…

Praet then fits in,when Maddison returns on Sunday..

Praet should keep his place but more than likely he will just swap Maddison back hopefully he has the balls to drop one of Soumare, KDH or Youri instead ... KDH could do with a rest I would bring Maddison in for KDH keep Preat out on the right.

We will be stronger with Ricki is fit and hopefully stays injury free.

KDH gets into some great positions but more often that not he is too slow to see the pass or loses control because he takes his eye if it. Did make the right choice for the goal though but wasn't difficult.

But his left foot is needed in this side.

Prob will be when Ndidi returns, sadly can't see Praet getting much time then.
