Southgate really is the most boring, staid football manager going.

How the Hell he could watch this evenings game and not find a space for Maddison on the plane is absolutely beyond me.
I can imagine a confident, on form Maddison ripping opposition defences apart

Southgate is a knob head, a looser and a yes man

Great stuff. Was getting a little nervous around 70 mins as felt we were giving it away cheap. Didn't think Barnes would score either. I stand corrected, great goal.

Be sad to see youri go, and madders is now the consistently good player we always hoped he could be. Has to go to the world cup. Can't believe Jimmy Floyd hasslebank saying he doesn't fit into England's system , his numbers are better than anyone else's. Get him in the team !

And wout , what a man. How's Hamza getting on ? Really need both of the haircuts in the same team

Was at a bonfire event tonight,

Part time Pete. You need to get your priorites right. Watching City or night out with family, there can be only one winner. Stuff the kids. Watch footie.

Not to be a downer but if we want to be a top 6 team again, even a top 10 team, KDH shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. He's got a lot of spirit and fight, and is an honest pro but he isn't up to the technical level required

Don't talk so much shite. Cheers.

Great result.

2 points from Brentford in 10th and 4 points from Forest in 20th.

If the teams below us win their games in hand we're 16th.

Crazy table.

For once I felt confident throughout the match, Amartey was solid, everyone was covering spaces, looks like we've got our mojo back. Credit to Brendon and the coaches.

Gotta say fantastic result, but Everton have Tarkovwski,Doucoure,Grey,McNeill,Garner, Cody all of which either couldn’t get in their first team or played in teams that got relegated….Frank is on thin ice….13th an looking forward to games with confidence…..

Going against the grain slightly here and despite being delighted with the three points I thought we were so profligate on possession and we really don’t create enough quality chances from the amount of possession we do have, especially against a really poor Everton team.

We often rely on a moment of brilliance which is fine while certain players can deliver - but if you take YT and JM out the team (something that looks likely to happen this summer) where does that leave us?

Faes has improved us no end at the back, but we still carry around this air of fragility that makes it feel like things could turn any time - it still feels a tad unconvincing.

Credit where it’s due - a good win with the right effort and subs. I hope we can continue to improve further.

You must be fun to have around. Three points away from home, clean sheet, but let’s be negative.

FFS, all teams have scary moments in a game, that’s the nature of football. It would be boring otherwise.

At one point this afternoon we were back on the bottom but now we sit 13th. Good day

If we beat West Ham looking at the fixtures next week there's a chance of 10th going into WC.
