Reckon this kid will be the bees.

Knowing our luck that probably just means Brentford will hijack the deal at the last minute

Someone track that the plane doesn’t divert to Heathrow

So if this is a done deal , can we take bets on how long it takes Rodgers to play him and then how long it takes for Rodgers to fall out with him and leave him to rot on the bench.

Percy with the tap in!

According to my scientific research (aka Football Manager), he's a good player, who turns into a really good one over time.

I never have a problem with these type of signings. Even if they end up like a Benkovic, I prefer taking a chance on a newcomer than on Perez / Vestergard / Bertrand. Soumare and Daka have not done what we wanted them to do, but both have shown they have some ability to their game.

Welcome Victor!

Me too, our first port of call should be looking for a highly talented young player with much scope for improvement. Develop and then sell for profit and reinvest.

Perez, Vestergaard and Bertrand were all known players who had little room for improvement and proven mediocrity.

What I like about signing Soumare is he was a young player with previous links to elite clubs. He failed here in his first season but we had a chance to sell him for £15m this summer. That's the sort of player you want who can come here, still fail but you have a chance to make a small loss on them if you want to get rid and roll the dice again. Our problem is we haven't sold a non first team player for a decent fee since Musa 4.5years ago. It will be the death of us to keep seeing players go for free after big money was spent signing them.

Really pleased we’re getting some much needed reinforcements.

Maybe we could ease up on the Luke Thomas bashing.

Shame that he's joining at a time when the club is in decline and locals are revolting. Just hope we are not basing survival on a 20 year old left back with no Premier League experience. Looks like he might be decent though :fc:
