Agreed. This would be a welcome signing, and give Thomas some competition. LT is a good player and one of our own. He'll recover his form—its not his fault the whole team is playing like a sack of potatoes at the moment.

Luke Thomas isn't the answer. Once JJ is back from injury it'll be him and kristiansen for LB i reckon. Thomas out on loan would do him good.

They say he has an engine, he can support Harvey and get him in, if he takes up a Danny Simpson approach to defending, then that will work for us. His maturity which many have stated could actually teach Barnes how to play in a different way, that does not compromise his game. Barnes probably needs that, a livewire who is always looking to go forward and may be prone to release him (Barnes) earlier than he is accustomed to and have him in motion, as opposed to standing still when he receives the ball.

Doubt we see JJ this season. Even if Kristiansen is a hit, we need rotation so need Luke as backup rather than freezing him out. Need to get out of this obsession of running players into the ground or not playing them at all.

He'll play great when he arrives, putting in MOM performances. Then as Rodgers spends more time "coaching" him, he'll become increasingly shit, ending up on the bench with his confidence completely shot. Let's hope it doesn't follow this familiar scenario. 🤞

Yeah, I know Young Luke is having a rough go lately but it’s atrocious how many times he receives the ball out wide while Barnes is miles away up the pitch and our CMs can’t be bothered to provide an outlet. Ndidi and Mendy are giving him absolutely nothing while Ward insists on playing that chipped pass to an isolated Thomas. LT is probably missing KDH more than anyone right now. 
 

As for Kristiansen, this kid looks like the real deal— I’m interested to see how he handles the ball under the same circumstances, he seems to have a bit more strength, maybe he can buy himself enough time for one of his teammates to wake up and ask for the ball.

God we need this don’t we? It’s been depressive as hell ever since the WC.

yes new players with personality and confidence can liven up the place no end!

he’s gonna have a blast going clubbing with madders. Now we need to get s few more exciting players in and the injured to start returning asap! Big games ahead and 3 points are needed. Call me fool hardy but I think we could end up winning this weekend.

I like us looking for compatriots like we did with Youri, Praet, Castagne and Faes.

 

I'm a huge fan of Andreas Skov Olsen at Club Brugge. They have a breadth of left footed dynamic wingers / forwards and Skov Olsen is the best. Might be worth us seeing if a deal could be done, he's ready IMO.
