It’s quite impressive really that we managed to get Enzo after he’d already been headhunted by Southampton and all his mates from Man City are in charge there now.

Good to see Preston drop points which helped us go back up to top. Such a big gap between top 3 and teams just below. As long as we keep winning it'll make no difference, but good to know if we did have a minor blip, we wouldn't lose too much ground. 

 

Southampton though . What a mess of a club thanks to Martin. 

And Norwich - we've messed them up after Wednesday.

With Preston having West Brom, us and Ipswich next 3 games we may be able to make that 3 become 2 if things go well for us and Ipswich.

Not really true as most seasons before Bielsa we didn’t actually even challenge for Promotion.

I thought we could be ahead of them by this point but I definitely didn't think it would be a double digits point difference less than 10 games in

I'd be furious listening to that if that was us. Bad enough the absolute bullshit the manager is coming out with without the local radio's commentator sounding like he wants to suck his balls. 

 

Like others have said there is so many Rodgers qualities about him. None more than thinking too much of himself and that air of I'm right and the fans don't know **** all. 

 

Give me Neil Warnock over a clown like him anyday.

I'm usually quick to stick the boot in on Rodgers but even I think statements such as 'Russell Martin is Rodgers 2.0' are harsh on Rodgers. Brendan did in the early part of his tenure have us playing some brilliant football. Martin is 3rd season Rodgers on steroids. All the worse elements of third season Rodgers amplified. So happy we didn't appoint him.
