Surely they don’t sign Wilf as well?

We’re dealing with a basket case club in Forest. Wouldn’t surprise me if Wilf was always being used to force PSV’s hand. Hugely scattergun approach, and with their 500 other players, maybe they would take both

In 2 minds about this, he’s gonna walk next summer for free - is it better to get a fee now? Or do we roll the dice and hope he helps us get promoted and signs a new deal

does seem odd they want Wilf and Sangare, unless one is a smoke screen for the other

Or the most obvious answer, Sangare is no. 1 choice and as a backup they've also got the ball rolling for Wilf, because if Sangare doesn't happen the fall back deal is already progressed.

Sangare is a far better player than wilf. Looks a class act - surprised bigger clubs aren't coming in for him

You’ve neatly encapsulated the dilemma over both Ndidi and Iheanacho. Some folk think we should sell now to avoid losing them for nothing next summer; others believe that it’s probably too late to find suitable replacements and that the benefit of keeping them (ie, a better chance of promotion) outweighs the risk of losing them for nothing next year.

This debate has been going round and round in circles for a few weeks now. Personally speaking, I won’t miss it when the window shuts.

Maybe the Sangare link has been fed to Percy as a leak to get us to pull our finger out to close  out the Ndidi deal. In all truth I cannot see Sangare wanting to walk away from Champions League football to play for Forest, more believeable if it was a Brighton type club.

Montiel left Sevilla to do so! Albeit only a loan.

Many players do it these days.

Yep, underlines the lure of the PL for exposure and far higher wages. It would be sad for Sangare to join a club like Forest when he's already got better at PSV and Champions League football but you can see why he would make the move. It's clear Sangare had been hoping for a bigger move as well.

Fofana and Sangare are a different level of player to Ndidi currently, so he looks like a backup option for them.

Fulham may get Fofana if Palhinha goes to Bayern

Agree. It only works if the deal is wanted though. I see this as a hostile bid. Pay way over the odds or fck off

Yeh. It’s a crazy move for Sangare, he’d walk into Man U’s midfield & Liverpool’s midfield at the moment. Instead he’s looking at partnering professional shithouse Yates in a  battle between mid table obscurity and relegation.

Montiel was awful at sevilla, watched him week in week out.

They wanted to sell him
