In Stephy’s defence, Monga and Silko actually cut off the passing lines.

For some bizarre reason, they didn’t run into space and made it more congested.

Another reason that I’m so anti Marti, he doesn’t seem to coach any players/patterns of play.

There doesn't appear to be a system in place at all !  I don't see any evidence of a plan.   I appreciate Marti playing the youngsters but without a plan the youngsters will stagnate.

Who knows what's going on at the DoF level but now is the time to make a change so that the incoming manager will have time to organize the team & make a run for the play-offs.

This team hasn't got a prayer of the play-offs. Without significant changes to the squad in this window we're mid-table at best, probably lower after the deduction kicks in. Top isn't adding more reds to the balance sheet by sacking Cifuentes & co.

Starting to appear like he was brought in to to keep us afloat and do just enough to ensure we go again next season, deduction free.

With all the other shit around him it's gone a bit under the radar how poor he has been this season.

Benefited massively better players around him last time around, particularly KDH.

He hasn’t really got going and away from

home in particular is doing quite a lot of defending which is not his strength. To be fair he hasn’t had much support and gets isolated

Both wingers are suffering from the same problem Mav had last time in the champ.... ZERO competition for the place, no jeopardy whatsoever.

I'm not including Monga, he's too raw.

What incentive do they have to perform beyond the obvious, if there's no threat to your place you'll have more average games that good ones.

I think you're right about KDH. Looking at how KDH is playing this season as well. He is a brilliant ball carrier. We retained possession through having those types of players in KDH, Winks, Vestergaard and Ricardo in those central areas. Having the twin 8s by including Ndidi just gave us bodies and the ability to keep the ball in central areas.

That allowed us to hit the wingers at the more opportune moments when they're likely to be most effective.

Contrast that to now and I think both Mavididi and Fatawu are receiving the ball further away from goal and are being expected to beat players and do something. Fatawu is putting it all on himself by shooting at every available opportunity when there are better options on or a chance to build and create rather than waste a low-percentage shot from a ridiculous distance. And Mavididi is getting past players but then finding himself surrounded without much option.

We're not making best use of our wide players, I think. Although Fatawu, when he gets a one-on-one, gets past his man to the byline and cuts back to De Cordova-Reid, is still producing results.

I'm not saying we need Winks back. Far from it. He's been awful and his attitude isn't right for a senior pro. But something in our system needs to change to make two of our potentially most dangerous players more threatening.

I'd say both wingers are suffering from little or no support, pattern of play and often suffer from being double up on.

They both benefit for the Enzo system with two quality 8s in KDH and Ndidi.

Hes clearly a confidence player who low on confidence

Monga was pretty poor but some flashes. Yet, he was still miles better than Stephy was and because of that assist, Mavididi probably straight back in

both of them are far too poor defensively and who ever we play at LB consistanly has to deal with 2 men.

KPFC view - he played for Juventus once (literally)

If he can play for Juventus I should be able to get a game in league 1 at least.

Mavididi is the ine player that always seems to get in on goal consistently. All our other goals seem to be screamers!!

Pitiful numbers this season. Another that's had about 8 good months here.

He wasn’t even that good the season we went up as champions. His 2023 was good, that was it

Was it December where he won player of the month? Seems to have struggled for consistency since then.
