Unbelievable tonight. Brilliant.

He works so hard defensively too! We have a real player on our hands. At least 3 times this season he should have been passed to when clear on goal but people have opted to shoot.....the least he could do is be a bit selfish. Good on him!

100% should have squared to Vardy, and after that should have maybe squared for KDH, when he scored. I like that confidence in a player. He made a bad call, but in the course of a season and the context of this game it won’t matter.

This is a player who has everything you want, and that means even with such a good performance you have to point out the negatives, because he can be truly great if he just sees other players in better positions at times. What a player though and I think Enzo can make him into something special

He would but he's also a world class footballer who is a uniquely exceptional team player for a man who is in the Premier League 100 club.

Stephy Mavididi isn't and it isn't fair to expect him to be and it's great that Vardy is mature enough, wise enough and diplomatic enough to know and say that.

Basically this. Vardy 12/13 on whatever his first season was, probably would’ve done the same as Madvidi. Vardy now is an accomplished legend of the game. Regardless, Stephy was class today. Not only did he run himself ragged to still have the composure to finish like that after the previous miss sort of destroys the “he isn’t very composed” argument. We’ll love him.

The not passing to McAteer in the first half was a non issue, he was about 15 yards ahead with defenders in between. Probably should have passed to Vardy but glad he decided to go alone for his goal.

Lad has got something about him.

Greedy is one thing but shooting when a five yard pass gives us a certain goal twice in 5 minutes does not sit well with me.

He's confident in his ability, we lacked that last season.

I'm happy with the fact he took the 2nd chance himself, he will know he should have squared the 1st but didn't let him affect his decision for the 2nd.

That being said, I think Enzo will be having a word about squaring both chances.

Great performance tonight with a goal and an assist but he should have had 3 assists, I think he thinks he is bigger than the club and he needs to get his ego in check before he costs us points.

**** sake 🤣🤣🤣

Based on what? Because he chose to shoot instead of pass?! Get a grip.

100% he does..

Jamie Vardy coming straight out of non-league into Championship shoots all day long. Jamie Vardy with 100+ PL goals and years of experience squares it.

This kid needs to learn but is smashing it so far in a new team, high expectations. He's exactly what we need and one of many reasons we're winning games.

He's not a kid.

And he's come from one of the top 5 European leagues.

Would rather he have squared both of those situations, it was the percentage decision both times, but he's the type of player with whom we'll need to take the rough with the smooth as regards decision making.

I like the way he carries himself, he does lots of things well and is good at finding and bursting into those pockets of space when they appear, he also has a bit of swagger in his dribbling/manipulation of the ball. He also puts his defensive shift in.

Our options out wide now look stacked with the emergence of McAteer and the loan signings, and all have different characteristics.

He just said he wouldn’t have lol

He said that Exactly because he is that kind of team player to give Mavididi confidence because he is the captain. He was instantly frustrated at the time.

Vardy would have squared it for sure.

If Mavididi had the finished product ever my time, he’d be an established, top flight player.

Just enjoy the fact that he can do things on the ball that few else can, (at this level) and that he excites. That’ll do for a start
