I was already pretty excited by this signing, and that underlying data is only adding to it! Against Molde midweek he was also extremely promising, looking more like a Premier League player than a Championship one. 
 

Nicely structured deal for us, 500k if it goes wrong not a problem, £8m peanuts if we go back up and he’s good for us. 
 

It looks like the club are way more willing to use loan deals this season and I think this is the correct thing to do. Chelsea are destroying the market, and it’s not worth dipping our feet there. Expensive signings on high wages that don’t work out kill clubs like ours. We should use a mixture of permanents with many more loans from now on I think.
