But his general comments implied that he wasn't really happy with the performance, and would have preferred to have had more possession and controlled the game better. That sort of thing.

He can say I tried my best but my hands were tied, didn't have a say in signings blah blah blah . It is of that there is no doubt but here’s something to factor in since the turn of the century including interim managers Chelsea have had 23 managers/ head coaches. Leicester have had 29
Popular Post Gamble92 Posted 29 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 29 May 2024 I know Top has next to no football knowledge and just thinks he wants Man City type football, but even he can't have watched games last season and want to continue in that same style. 5

john ridley Posted 30 May 2024 Posted 30 May 2024 The comments on this story says it all ,we dodged a bullet.

Wants to leave us on good terms?! Ha, Cheers, Enzo.... This feels like asset stripping to me. Loads of players out of contract, coaches all going and, of course, the manager. Ksper in his brilliant interview said how momentum is key. The year we survived to the title win was a winning momentum. We had a one this time from finishing top, now that's all grinds to a halt. It will kill the atmosphere, the players will be heading into the premier League with the unknown and all wheels off. If things weren't hard enough before, it just got a whole lot tougher. We may have not have survived with Enzo, but at least there would have been some sort of stability in a situation of chaos. Now that has gone. Whoever comes in needs to hit the ground running, we have no choice. Edited 30 May 2024 by fox_favourite 1

Popular Post LcFc_Smiv Posted 30 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 30 May 2024 He’s literally just taken the staff that came in with him, which for me is a massive positive. It means Chelsea will have paid off their contracts and we will have received some further compensation. Whoever comes in next gets a say in building their own team around them rather than having a few members of the old guard stinking the place out because they didn’t get their moves, and us having to potentially fork out to terminate their contracts. Stop looking for doom and gloom in everything. 26
