So this is what I don't get about playing out from the back, this season in the Championship I get it, teams are gonna play against us sitting back, we're gonna have to break them down, playing out the back is a logically way, unlike last season, we are playing out from the back and going forwards, I have no criticisms.

But tonight against Liverpool, last season, the season before, I don't get it.

We are not a top team, last season teams were not scared to come to Leicester City, it wasn't in their thoughts to sit back and defend against us, Liverpool are not going to sit back, we didn't and don't need to break them down by playing out, playing out from the back does half the job (and more) for tonights and last seasons opposition by simply being masters of our own downfall.

We're 1-0 up but it still doesn't mean I understand or agree with the logic, not against this opposition.

We keep losing the ball in or on our own 18 yard box, by all means play possession football but atleast lose it higher up the pitch and not on the edge of your own box.

Because we have a way we want to play regardless. Get used to it. Thank god we actually have a style of play again.

If the ref was as bent as some of you think then he’d have pulled back our goal for Marc standing on tsimikas’ leg (well clipping him)

and he’d have given a pen against JJ

he’s just a poor ref - nothing else

Joined the match thread late due to work stuff...

Glad to get a goal early.

The defense is holding up, barely.  Liverpool are laying siege at times, but we are still playing pretty damn well and looking dangerous on the counter.

Hopefully no work stuff will interrupt the second half.

It’s not Matterface as I know his voice but this guy just sounds fed up with us lol

We're watching the same one. The guy is devastated that Liverpool haven't scored yet.

To be fair, how many saves has Jakub made? 2?

Hamza on a yellow doesn't bode well. He won't be getting his foot in second half.

Winks will replace him on 60 minutes imo, just needs to last 15 mins.

More worried about the lack of depth at full-back on the bench, who's replacing Ricardo or Justin

Wooo Hamza booked for that lol lol

He's buying everything off the Liverpool player reactions

Refs been poor. No foul on Mcateer when he got a shoulder in the face from Jones. Souttar wins the ball, free kick. Choudhury wins the ball free kick and yellow. The liverpool players really know how to play referees. Disgusting football club with horrible players and equally horrible manager

Is everyones streams working that I set them up with?

This ref is bent as fvck. Souttar and Hamza with brilliant tackles given as fouls and he can't wait to blow everytime they go down. You just know we will get a red or give away a pen. Great fighting display so far but need to know when to clear the ball.

Sam matterface hammering us on Talksport

Why, we're winning, we play in a division below. Matterface clearly an extremely thick ****.

Only joined half way through the half and the commentator would have you believe we are hanging on for dear life. Not from what I've seen, defended pretty well although obviously making it hard for ourselves at times.

There are bits to Yunus I like,  but he just doesn't have the pace at this level. (Admittedly I know he played a role in the goal but I haven't seen it)

Ricky was a clear foul with no chance of getting the ball

didn’t deserve a yellow though

You're quite right, I got it confused with the Souttar challenge which was given as a free kick but with no yellow
