Maresca has more than likely pinpointed him as cover for Winks, with the ability to play further forward as a 8 if necessary.

If we were in the Premier League, it’s the type of signing that I’d rather avoid, especially with his crap injury record.

At Championship level though, if he can stay fit, it could prove to be a shrewd bit of business, but there’d be that doubt of whether he could hack the Premier League.

I’d rather a move like this be a loan tbh, then reassess the position again in the summer, as an alternate for Winks will definitely be necessary.

Don't really see the point of this.

Think it reflects our financial position, looking in the bargain bin

He's played a few times for Italy so i would say we are  not compromising on the quality we need but we are indeed looking for cheaper deals... especially if he really is just with us until the end of the season as some people think...

His injury record isn’t that bad.

He is 6 months older than Winks and has played an almost identical amount of career games.

I think this will be a good move to be honest.

If we can get him in for similar terms then we ship Praet out for, then it's a no-brainer.

The fact he can fill in for Winks is a bonus too, we've been a little too reliant on his fitness so far.

His injury record since 2020 looks pretty naff, with muscular issues being a reoccurring theme.

If he stays fit, it could be shrewd business. If his injury niggles continue, then he’ll be an injury prone flop.

Loan until the end of the season. If he's any good, we can sign him when his contract expires. Although it's not a particularly overwhelming signing.

Wages won’t be cheap by Championship standards

Looks a right agent number

Probably not on a great deal at Inter, we know how tight the Italian clubs are.

It’s the English speaking part of one of their forums. But yeah I know what you mean! lol

I suspect they've translated it straight from the word 'mezzo', which would be fairly standard in Italian, but as we're proving, doesn't have a direct equivalent here.

Currently earns about £35k a week and would cost £2.5m

Calciomercato.it bring the latest on the situation, and explain that, for the time being, Leicester have only made an ‘enquiry’ for Sensi.

The Foxes are ‘waiting to see’ if they can further the talks at a later date, especially since the midfielder isn’t convinced just yet.

He, for now, ‘prioritises’ staying in the Italian league, but will be available at a rather affordable price for interested parties.

Inter Milan, by selling him, would be getting rid of €2m in wages, and also want around €3m in compensation for him to be sold.

Look forward to reading the article when he signs, quoting him that he made up his mind straight away to join the club!

The last two seasons have been OK. Missing 6 games this season and last. Before that, isn't great reading... probably averaging about 15 missed games a year over his career.

Ndidi is equally as bad, has less instances of injuries but always seems to miss 2-3 months a season. Praet beyond words.

Is this the best our scouting Team can come up with?  WTF are they doing every day?

Ric needs to be made head of recruitment.
