Other than his abductor, legs, feet, hands, stomach, muscles, ligaments, bones and hamstring he seems a pretty healthy guy.

He does seem prone to muscular problems but that says he's only been injured for basically 5 weeks in the last 12 months, with the injury prior to that being a broken leg, which isn't indicative of a recurring issue. That's significantly better than our Dennis, surely :dunno:

I know the whole record doesn't make pretty reading but the last 12 months isn't so bad.

Calciomercato.it bring the latest on the situation, and explain that, for the time being, Leicester have only made an ‘enquiry’ for Sensi.

The Foxes are ‘waiting to see’ if they can further the talks at a later date, especially since the midfielder isn’t convinced just yet.

He, for now, ‘prioritises’ staying in the Italian league, but will be available at a rather affordable price for interested parties.

Inter Milan, by selling him, would be getting rid of €2m in wages, and also want around €3m in compensation for him to be sold.

Not sure why we'd pay €3m for him when we can have him for free in the summer, it's not like our promotion challenge is faltering.

Jumping the proverbial queue.

And it's ok to say our charge isn't faltering but what happens if KDH injures himself in training tomorrow. Realistically, mathematically, we probably have a big enough lead that we could limp over the line for automatic promotion even with some key injuries but we definitely look the most fragile at 8 in my opinion.

If you'd have asked me in August where the biggest vulnerability in the team was, I'd have said having no obvious replacement for Winks. But I'm not so sure now really. I think that Ndidi KDH combo is probably what we miss the most when they aren't playing. It puts a lot of strain on the wide players and the base of the midfield to have a great game. We got away with it against Huddersfield, we didn't against Wednesday. The fewer games Casadei and Yunus have to start together as a makeshift 8 pair the better I think.

Sure we'll probably still be Champions without reinforcing there but I'm not sure I'd personally want to hack the stress of doing it the hard way. We've had plenty of eventful seasons lately, lets just fvcking cruise one for once.

On Betfair we're already an implied 93.5% chance of being promoted, I'm not sure if spending £5m on a transfer fee and wages until the summer improves those odds that much and probably certainly not value for money to improve those odds by 0.5%-1%.

He seems surplus at Inter so they're probably chancing their arm with a €3m asking price and no apparent suitors but us. Come the end of the window they may reduce that to €1m just to get his wages off the books. A bit like us with Praet, 6 months left and stealing a wage.

He seems ideal for the Dennis Praet role that we may need to replace.

I.e. A midfielder, signed from Serie A, who's perpetually injured

No one will replace my Dennis :(

I'm just as concerned about where the goals will come from if Cannon gets injured. Currently our only fit and available no. 9.

KDH and Mavadidi have scored quite a few. Hopefully Daka will be back soon and Vardy fit. I don't think we should be prioritising a striker in this window personally as I think we have enough fire power in the squad.

One things for sure.  If this signing happens, we absolutely must get a chant going using the Shawn Michaels theme tune.

He's just a Sensi boy

SENSI BOY

I'm at Segrave
It makes me shiver
My knees get weak
It's my ACL
They see me walk
They hear me screaming
They start to dial
Number nine nine nine
[Chorus]
I'm just a Sensi boy (sensi boy)....

KDH and Mavididi alone have scored two fewer goals than all four of our strikers combined...  I imagine the goals will continue to come from the same place that they have all season, our CM and wingers.
