yeh I’m not convinced anyone is gonna cruise through those games. There’s gonna be a a lotta scrapping to get points. Leeds is gonna stumble - no way are there games gonna be easy. Southampton have the most to do but they could catch up if others stumble. It’s gonna be a yoyo for a few weeks lol.time to clench those butt cheeks!

Southampton are in trouble to avoid the playoff.  Tough run-in and a crazy backlog of matches.

 

Interestingly all three demoted PL teams have never gone back up the following season.

I tend to agree. If I were an outsider looking in, I'd think, they're wobbling but will pick up a couple on the spin somehow and then cruise thought the last four or five games.

Saints 95 (w 7, lose 2, D1) best case 

Farmers 98 (w6 D2 L1) best case 

Leeds 101 (W7, D1, L1) best case 

Us 98 (w5, D2, L2) worst case 

 

On that, we go up on GD. Worst case. But still think deep down we'll pull away

I can see there being many twists and turns yet, 7 league games in April with a possibility of a 8th game with a semifinal at Wembley, 

First 12 days in April will probably tell us everything we need to know
