Who is 'Hall' and why has he said someone called Maresco wants a 'Dewsbury'?

they are in a worse PSR state than us but an offer that clears us from PSR breach for the season just finished and you take it, I like KDH but he is replaceable

Can't see him going Chelsea. I don't think he's anywhere near their level. Especially considering they're seemingly desperate to get rid of Gallagher.

Chelsea aren't in the Champions League.

but thats  their target.  also, if they get there, they'll need players to be good enough to play in the champions league.

I like KDH, but I don't think he is good enough for Chelsea and their aspirations.

It would be a Danny Drinkwater type move for KDH as well IMO.

Chelsea would probably give him a silly 7 year deal and he would barely get a sniff.

Do agree about KDH but as mentioned above, they want rid of Gallagher for 100% profit given what they've spent over the last few years.

I think him being home grown adds a sentimental feeling to it. But if I’m being blunt, I think he’s good, but I don’t think he’s that good. If Chelsea were to offer £40m I’d laugh all the way to the bank. We could reinvest it (if done wisely) and end up in a strong position.

For the right money if it helps our financial cause and staves a points deduction off together with the Enzo money he can go!

He really isn't good enough compared to what they have already. Just media mischief I think.

£88m and he’s yours You Pond scum sucking Chelsea bitches, that should stave of that EPL bitter & twisted PSR 🐂 💩 and they can stick their threat of points deducted up their big arse kissing biased rings !!

Sell Daka too for £30m and we’d definitely be fine !!😉

If it's enough to avoid a points deduction then we have to get it done.

?

unless I’m mistaken, the points deduction we are facing is for previous  issues when in the prem.  Any points deduction from last last season will only effect us if we get regulated back to the championship.

A really stupid quirk of FFP and amortisation is that Leicester and Chelsea could basically agree to sell Gallagher and KDH to each other for the exact same fee and both clubs would "profit" this season.

Let's say we both sell for £50m and give them 5 year contracts, both players cost the buying clubs £10m this year but both clubs gain the full £50m immediately because they're locally produced players with no existing book value, so 100% profit.

So sadly this motivates clubs to sell off their own, home grown, local, iconic talent that really they should be encouraged to keep. Leicester and Chelsea would just gain similar players but they'd be doing it for the £40m transfer profit in this season's books to help with the rolling FFP windows and the holes they might be in from the last couple of years.

It's absolutely stupid but eh. That's the rules.

Oh well we can both get tham back next year, the system works. :teehee:

I suppose, theoretically, you could then sell them to each other for like £80m the year after and so on and so on.

KDH will be going anyway by the looks. Sh*t happens. I wouldn't rely on Chelsea having big money to spend so I hope the club are looking at different options. Time to get back to player trading anyway as the change in our business model simply hasn't worked.

Well we could sell him to meet requirements, but that money doesnt dissapear - it will still be there when the new season's books are opened so we would definitely need to reinvest it

The money has always been there it's balancing the books on a year to year basis that has been the issue.

not entirely true.

you can’t keep losing 87m every year and operate a buisness.
