Mike Stowell was our Gk Coach from 2007 to 2023. Enzo got rid of him, replaced him and then took his replacement less than 12 months later. Adam Sadler was at the club from 2014, same thing happened to him. He dismantled the coaching team and then took all the replacements away too. He took out star player. It’s not the norm for a manager to leave and then take his best player to his next club. Probably the last time was when O’Neill took a few back in the day but even he left Izzet!

When Rodgers was sacked, Stowell and Sadler took over for a couple of games, there team selection and setup was beyond belief, we clearly needed to attack and sadler set us up defensively which was a disastrous decision, he then went on to defend it after, then Stowell, our GK coach allowed Rodgers to continue with Ward despite it being obvious he needed pulling. They needed to go. As for KDH, he had to go and we got a fair price for him, enzo could have told chelsea to go lower, i reckon we'd have took a lower offer

How did Gary Neville not know that free-kicks for offside are taken from where the player touched the ball? Been around for a couple of years now.

The point still stands. Enzo stripped the coaching team and left with all of the replacements and when he left took our best player for £5m more than Oliver Skipp. Credit for getting us promoted but he left with the entire coaching team, all in one go and our best player. He also cancelled the US tour before he left the building. For a good period of early pre season we operated with back up coaches early. That’s partly why we are even less well prepared for the new season than we usually are!

So, after all that, the good news is:- lose by less than 3 and we're not bottom, lose by 3-0 and we're alphabetically bottom, lose by 4+.... Ok, we're bottom then 😕

Enzo probably helped us not fail another ffp by going when he did . Chelsea is probably not right for him but who is right for Chelsea now days. Knows he wouldn’t get anything here and went. Nothing has changed for the new manager so he was right really

managers who get head hunted typically takes their coaching team with them. That KDH was only £5m more than Skipp is on Rudkin for being a dogshit negotiator, and cancelling a US tour is actually a sensible move, we've seen how much that messes up preparations for a club of our size when we did that international championship shit in summer 2016. As for having backup coaches, again, that's on the club for faffing around with getting his replacement.

Don't know why you're desperate to blame Enzo for what is the boards fault.

Enzo takes some responsibility. He also negotiated the Vesty 3 year extension. Don’t know why you are desperate to exonerate him for leaving a long term project after 1 year at its most critical point. The board take major responsibility for this situation we are in but Enzo doesn’t need apologists. He stripped the club of all the coaches, ensured our friendly opportunities were brief, gave 3 years to an older player specific to his style of play and took our best player at a comparatively cheap place. He didn’t even have the guts to leave a comment to the fanbase when he left.

Sterling could do a job here on loan..

Only if he's working at a food bank.

He'd spend the time being a prima Donna, sucking money from the budget and failing to win games.

Guy has played his last match in the UK.

Some footballers think they have entitlement to be first name on the team sheet and act hard done by. Players need to earn their place, Sterling as terrible over the last year. Move to Chelsea move been a disaster. Releasing statements is pathetic, accept you need to do better. If its not happening then go to the manager privately and say you may need more game if not here then a loan move and don't be so fussy where you go next.

Wolves financially strung despite huge income from sales.

Wonder which deadwood we'll be interested in...

@The Bear how do you see this season going? And do you agree CB is priority?

It's bullshit of course. £200m worth of sales in the last two seasons and they keep gaslighting fans with FFP bullshit.

We need a CB and right winger to replace Neto. If we get those I think we can make top 10.

Well everyone knows wolves have a wedge in their back pocket so makes sense to brief a well respected journo that they’re still broke - otherwise they’ll be expected to pay inflated fees

I hope that's what it is but we've been here before too many times in recent years.

Seems to me like they know relegation is unlikely and are just banking the money. Could bite you of course but given the rumours of clubs with deductions coming and the general weakness of the promoted sides you'd think you'll be comfortably PL still.

That only works until it doesn't and you suddenly get relegated. Then their asset is worth nothing and all the best players have to leave.

A few seasons ago we were miles ahead of Villa, but thanks to their spending and recruitment they're now in the CL. We need owners who are willing to take the money we raise and reinvest all of it.

Fosun want to buy low and sell high though, with cheap transfer fees. It's a risky strategy as you have to keep finding gems.

You’re fooling yourself - you’re one of us now, alongside Everton!
