Seems such a nervous guy and obviously a confidence player, im happy for him and really want to see him succeed now the poisonous winks is out the picture.

I rather like him. He hasn’t been the flair player we had been hoping for but has always worked hard. Not his fault we paid so much for him but now he’s out of the shadow of Winks maybe he will get more game time in his preferred position and make it his own. 
Great performance against Sheffield Utd and was everywhere yesterday which should give him confidence. Handy having a player who is versatile and can slot in wherever he is needed.

This could be a confidence thing with him as daft as it sounds, losing his hair so early could be playing on his mind.

If he keeps worrying about it he’ll lose more, quicker. Vicious circle. But if he continues to play well it might grow back.

I'm not getting too carried away by one good performance in his entire time with us, but I'm pleased for him.

 

He seems a nice guy and I hope it carries on. I'd love to be proved wrong with him.

What did impress me was his calmness in tight situations, ability to draw fouls and played a few line breaking positive passes, I didn’t feel by losing Winks that we lost anything possession wise in fact if anything we played with a much quicker tempo and in addition we looked a lot more secure and physical in midfield.

It could improve his aerodynamics, so might be for the best

You know what, I'm starting to think that there might have been a player in there all along and he was just badly managed by two useless managers last season.  It's not like he ever got a chance to even show he was half decent under Cooper and RVN.  Everyone was atrocious.

 

He did great at Norwich at this level, was in the PFA team of the year from his ever-present season in the Championship.

 

He's here for a long time and he certainly doesn't look like one of those who is just happy sitting on the bench taking a wage.

 fair. 10/11 and 11/12 exist as one long season in my memory. We're 3 nil down at half time against palace with Jack Hobbs trying to do rabonas and pass through the lines and then a few months later Dannzy is promoting the Spitter 2 app and Pearson is headbutting the captain.
