Please someone tell him to shave his head. It looks bloody awful and would almost certainly improve him as a footballer

Him feeling his bald patch after scoring will be shown for years to come, leave it out.

Maybe doing a complete U-turn on him

Based on his last game and a half maybe he does have a future here

He actually has been playing with effort

But maybe I should wait to see if it lasts a few more games

He's the balding midfield maestro that the game is crying out for.

This could be a confidence thing with him as daft as it sounds, losing his hair so early could be playing on his mind.

If he keeps worrying about it he’ll lose more, quicker. Vicious circle. But if he continues to play well it might grow back.

I'm not getting too carried away by one good performance in his entire time with us, but I'm pleased for him.

He seems a nice guy and I hope it carries on. I'd love to be proved wrong with him.

Feels like a rerun of that part of the 10/11 season where we were so in the trenches that there was a period of a few weeks where Neil Danns was our best player

What did impress me was his calmness in tight situations, ability to draw fouls and played a few line breaking positive passes, I didn’t feel by losing Winks that we lost anything possession wise in fact if anything we played with a much quicker tempo and in addition we looked a lot more secure and physical in midfield.

It could improve his aerodynamics, so might be for the best

Neill Danns the time traveller, he didn't sign until summer 2011 brother!

Character beats ability every time.

Well played Skippy. You’re the 6 for the rest of the season. You’ll have good games, you’ll have poor games, but we’ll know you’re giving your best each time

Needs a song. I think he can be a real cult hero for us if he keeps this up!

"I would rather be a Skippy than a Winks, I'd rather be a Skippy than a Winks, I'd rather be a Skippy, rather be a Skippy, rather be a Skippy than a Winks, he's a cvnt!"

You know what, I'm starting to think that there might have been a player in there all along and he was just badly managed by two useless managers last season.  It's not like he ever got a chance to even show he was half decent under Cooper and RVN.  Everyone was atrocious.

He did great at Norwich at this level, was in the PFA team of the year from his ever-present season in the Championship.

He's here for a long time and he certainly doesn't look like one of those who is just happy sitting on the bench taking a wage.

Danns even got his own Mercury column.

lol fair. 10/11 and 11/12 exist as one long season in my memory. We're 3 nil down at half time against palace with Jack Hobbs trying to do rabonas and pass through the lines and then a few months later Dannzy is promoting the Spitter 2 app and Pearson is headbutting the captain.

Obviously not a world beater, but if he’s a 6/7 out of 10 every week, is versatile team player and gives his all.. all you can ask

Happy for him and long may it continue but let’s be really clear - he has been absolutely garbage here - a game and a half doesn’t change that unless it becomes 10 games and then 20

It’s game over for the football world once he releases his power.

maybe hair is his kryptonite?
