Both leagues are a bit of a downgrade from Belgium's top league I agree, but they've been up there with the leagues standout players, done well in Europe and internationally Nanasi has started well.

The fee we'll pay doesn't represent El Khannouss being twice the player of them.

Basically all of the arguments you are making, you can make for El Khannouss, with the difference being that he's (a lot) younger and was a standout player in a better league.

And yes, the transfer fee is higher. That's what happens when you pick up talent in a higher rated country. 20-25M would be a very good deal for you.

Play this out till Friday and stick to our price...they will not say no at this money but they'll hang on as long as they need to for top dollar. We just need a DoR that will stand their ground ...

Just long enough for West Ham to sign him :dunno:

You don't need to tell me about El Khannouss, I know more about football players than you've had hot dinners son. What I'm querying is the inevitable fee we're going to be slapped for. Nanasi and Gronbaek have delivered just as much, if not more than El Khannouss so far in their respective leagues and Europe and gone for half what Bilal will cost.

We get done time and time again but as long as it's under €25m I'll be happy to have him.

I do think tho if any premier league club wanted nanasi or gronbaek then they would have paid more then they actually went for it’s the premier league tax ain’t it! I don’t know much about this El Khannouss lad tbf but just glad he looks exciting prospect.

As a club, we’re that annoying fella that asks if you’ll take a tenner on gumtree when the item is very clearly listed at £30

But that’s the dance, offer £10 they say £25 counter offer of £15 & end up settling on £20 which is probably what the seller wanted

Swapsies for Faes

Or Ward?  Or Boubs? Or both plus Rudkin?

The lad is pushing for the move. Any decent negotiator would tell Genk a take it or leave it and let the player do all the hassling.

Sadly,.the absolute basics of business are beyond this adminstration. They get played time and time again. Maybe Woodward at Man U and West Ham's porn addled minds were/are as bad as we are..

Proper Fofana vibes. Not sure i can deal with another wank3r like him 😂

I’ll take the attitude if he can back it up and keep us up or do what Fofana did and help us with the winning some silverware. This season we just need to survive and stabilise

Wonder what the counter proposal will be? Guess 22m Euros plus 3m add ons. 25 million euros or £21 million equivalent?

It'll probably for Rudders to **** off and come back with a bigger bid, I'd imagine.

Just pay what they want. Convinced this man is what we need to stay up. Some may say the messiah in fact.

A player in this mould, a striker and ideally a LB if doable

lol Prepare yourself for disappointment. We'll be lucky to get one deal over the line let alone three.

Like I said earlier, if he’s half decent, he’ll be doing this to us in 18 months time.

‘Needs must’ in our position

If we’re relegated then I’d expect any ambitions player to want to leave if they’ve proved themselves at PL level

if the club make a decent profit on them then we can’t really complain.

if he’s a sig part of us staying up then even more reason not to be bothered - money in the bank from all angles.  Just have to spend it wisely on ageing utility forwards !

I’ve heard a rumour we’re also in for Schlupp, Young, Antonio, Welbeck and Maupay, just to add bodies and bolster the attack.

And hopefully making us a nice wedge of money.

Antonio and Welbeck are way too ambitious. Ings more likely
