kingfox Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 Off topic, but whoever edits the announcement videos genuinely deserves the sack. Only good one has been Fatawu, the rest
orangecity23 Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 So if that's a two year deal at 5 + 3 million add ons - does that mean 2.5 million of amortisation this year, but (potentially) 5.5 million on next years budget? Ouch. Thats the equivalent of a 22 million quid signing on a 4 year deal. Anyway, nothing we can do about it now. Hope he does well for us, at least its a versatile player for the bench if nothing else.

I don't think anyone has anything against Ayew, he'll get a good reception and as much backing as any other player. It's more that it's just another bemusing signing from the club, throwing money down the drain again. The Palace forum even seem shocked that a team could pay such a fee for Jordan Ayew. 3
SecretPro Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 Welcome Jordan. I'm behind you because you are blue. 1
daverollo Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 Whenever I’ve seen him play, it’s always with a decent level of commitment and bottle. Puts himself about and not intimidated and can pose a threat in the final 3rd of the pitch. If he brings that with him he’ll do alright and prove a lot on here wrong. Think Albrighton with a bit more pace.
OntarioFox Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 Good luck Jordan, what's done is done, rough 'em up 1
leicesterlad1989 Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 Certainly a meh signing although he's joining us after one of his better seasons with 11 goal involvements in 35 games. I'll settle for that again. FWIW my friends a Palace season ticket holder and is gutted to see him go. 1

Rudkin reading this post, after coming here hoping to see boundless adulation from the fanbase for a fantastic signing. 1

Popular Post Tuna Posted 23 August 2024 Popular Post Posted 23 August 2024 (edited) I think he will turn out to be a nice, shrewd signing for us. He wants to be here and I'm pleased we have got him in! Edited 23 August 2024 by Tuna 5
em9999 Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 He's signed in time to play against Fulham ??? Apparently he has

Lambert09 Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 nothing against him personally so will give the guy my support. Prey for the club that he at least delivers what he did last year
Stuntman_Mike Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 This is just another reality check of how much we've dropped off in recent years. However, I do feel he'll do alright for us.
Molson Canadian Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 https://www.capology.com/player/jordan-ayew-33492/ Has him down being payed 25,000 a week for Crystal Palace Any idea what we are paying him on his 2 year deal?

Tommy G Posted 23 August 2024 Posted 23 August 2024 £5m over two seasons unless we stay up, not bad. Won’t be a starter but has enough at this level for a back up role. 1
