This guy is too slow releasing the ball, he makes fewer forwards passes.

Which Maddison does better

He's currently too slow for the premier league pace

This has to be a wind up surely?

Possibly because he has very little options around him. Particularly in forward positions.

He's certainly not too slow either. Certainly not off the ball, which is usually a criticism of new players in the Premier League. His pressing and overall strength is great. He's also no donkey with the ball.

So yeah, a bit harsh.

If IF we stay up, he’s the player you build the team around. Unfortunately, with that looking unlikely, he will get a very decent move in the summer,

Be interesting to know if he was a Glover pick - another positive to add to the list.

Good work rate and a bit of creativity. Would be nice to see him and Facundo start but if not (if he's being recalled for Brighton to sell as rumoured), please get Mavididi back in a proper frame of mind and get another right winger to play alongside them, with how flimsy our defence is, outscoring everyone is our best route to survival.

Ironically we would really excel under Enzo with him and Bounanotte as the two 8s I think, both classy but work too.

I do think given the mess we are it has to be him or Facundo as teams are walking through us

There's a reason Maddison never played for one of the big Clubs.

It's because he doesn't work hard enough, Or want the Ball enough.

Bilal covered every blade of Grass today.

Won the Ball back many times and showed for the Ball all game.

He also played some unbelievable passes today to open Man City up.

Giving his age, If he keeps improving at this rate he'll be an 80 million pd player soon.

I'm just glad we have him on a long Contract.

His close ball control was a delight to watch, as well as his tackling and passing range, this kid has it all, and to top it all, he looks so composed. If Brighton think Goodnight is worth 50 million, then BEK is worth a lot more
