MarriedaLeicesterGirl Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 We are getting better as the game progresses. Hopefully, this continues... Vardy! 2
Chrysalis Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Well Cooper certainly changed it up for that first half, some slick passing but also some dodgy moments trying to play out.
Iwebema Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Excellent half, think we've played well, the system clearly suits the players and they are comfortable with it in possession. We just need to get better out of possession, JJ and Ricardo are getting burnt a bit, but I that is more to do with the defensive players not executing assignments, it's certainly higher risk football, but at home in games like this I much prefer it.
eastendfox Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 We're growing into a Premier league side. Ricardo in the middle gives Winks more space to play, and we have goals in us plus a keeper. Just worried Wood will get his usual goal 1
LVFox Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Really good. Proof that our best 11 has the ability to play wonderful football. JJ has been honking but it's so nice to see a Winks/Ricardo double pivot with an actual number 10 in the side. Some better decision making from the wingers and we would have created more, but we do not look like a newly promoted side at all 1
Will1981 Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 playing ok both our fullbacks have struggled with the pace of their wingers.
Suzie the Fox Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Decent 1st half, 1-1 is fair (ish) based on play but we should never have let them score. Rookie mistakes that shouldnt have happened. 2
Simonb Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Shame riccy is on a yellow as its taken out his defensive aggression but so much better on the ball with him in the team Decent going forward. Scary defensively Fats and jj need to wake up. Happy enough with that though bar the mistakes for the goal

Vacamion Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 I think we look good. Forest create chances against any team but we've created, too. It's a fairly entertaining game and if we are going to go down tonight, we'll go down swinging. Mads save I mean, blimey... 2
FoxesWalk Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 (edited) Dropping Winks seems to have had the desired effect and upped his performance level, fair play Steve. Edited 25 October 2024 by FoxesWalk 2
foxfan92 Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Not quite clicking yet, but there are signs this might work out in long run. With this team / formation comparisons with last season will be inevitable, and I think we've looked more creative than in a number of first halves this season, but I don't understand why we keep going so narrow, trying to play it through the middles, when we've finally got decent options out wide on both flank. 1
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Not a bad half. Awful goal to concede. Ricardo, Buonanotte and JJ all at fault. Fats off it at the moment. But some nice play. Great goal and Mads with brilliant save.
Tommy Fresh Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Don't think either side will be pleased defensively, but in terms of how the game is being played Nuno will be more annoyed I'd imagine

Swarles Barkley Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Need to get tighter to their wingers and get the ball to our wingers quicker
Dahnsouff Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 1 minute ago, Cadno'r Cymoedd said: Ricardo has done sod all. I like you I am guessing, is not a footballing hipster, Ricardo has done bugger all apart from lose the ball for the first goal, oh and hiding behind the Forest midfield to stop him having to receive the ball. Maybe I just need to pay closer attention.
StevieH Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Look vulnerable to the pace of their wingers. Both Ricardo and Justin struggled 1
Clarkey123 Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 I feel like I’ve gone in a Time Machine back to last season. It’s beautiful 🥲 1
Mike1983 Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 It really should be 1-2 to Forest - that one save from Mads was practically a 95% goal chance.
Claudio Fannieri Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Poor goal to concede but overall better little to complain about, pick out strongest team and play on the front foot with high tempo football and we are a very decent side. 2
