The first goal yesterday looked like it was out of an U11's match. So school boy. Never seen a professional outfit go long with both CB in the penalty area still. Playing the opposition 50 yards onside.

What with half the squad away?

Yeah so they could have spent a week working with the other half and then the following week getting the squad ready for Chelsea couldn't they? That would probably have been quite nice

After yesterday's performance I had to agree we were not progressing under SC.

To be honest he didn't stand a chance from Day One.

Hopefully we can now move on.

I will say though, Two Weeks Wasted by the Board.

Thank the ****ing lord. One of the worst managers in our history. Genuinely awful. Don't let him near another football team. Expect coventry.

🤔 Ian Holloway? Frank McClintock? Peter Taylor?

Interesting everyone seems to have been briefed the same - not a knee jerk reaction and has been under consideration.

Few referencing he wasn't first choice and Potter basically having the job till the last moment

I'm sure he'll struggle to buy groceries now...

Judging by his lack of ability to manage a football team I’d tend to agree that the lad might need some help with the big shop.

His appointment made sense at the time, because we were somewhat of a lost cause given the potential points deductions, however, with that no longer being an issue the goalposts have moved. I do feel a bit sorry for him, but he just wasn’t the right fit, he clearly hadn’t got the lads on board, and you’re pissing into the wind if you haven’t at least got that. Genuinely wish him all the best going forward, I’m sure he will get another job better suited for him.

Strange timing as you'd think they'd have done it before the international break. Can't help but feel the players, or certain players, may have had a hand in this. If so, then good on them, sometimes the players need to stand up and make the people at the top known if things aren't right. Bad news for some of them though is that they may get binned pretty quick by a new manager if they don't improve performances soon

The better players would not have been here.

Incredible news. But strange timing after international break.. hopefully got someone lined up. I couldn’t stand watching another game of 11 headless chickens

Into the dustbin of failed Leicester city managers you go. Along with Megson, Allen, Holloway et al.
