Positives to take away?

I heard some pretty funny comments shouted from the stands today. I frame that as a positive because it made me laugh.

One positive is that in a few years we are likely to be in league one…. So there will be nothing to give a shit about anymore….. and we can watch football pain free knowing that we are shit.

RVN realises:

1) Knocking on somebody’s door to say we are relegated with THAT squad, I need new 4 players that could be starters from early Jan, not the 31st

2) Realising Ayew is an impact sub ONLY ALL goals scored by him AFTER 90th minute

3) Anybody but Ward IF possible, don’t know the fitness on Mads & Jakob

4) Winks, Soumare, Bilal & Goodnight have to play every match where possible

That will be positive IF ALL of that happens

Yes we’re dreadful, yes we’re going down, yes the gap is massive between leagues, but we’ve only lost KDH from our title winning squad so why wouldn’t we come back up? Look at Sheff U who were worst than us last season.

Morning after the night before, are people feeling more negative or positive than the direct aftermath? I'm blindly a fraction more positive than yesterday.

 

- We have time and a transfer window to turn the performances around, I know that relies on competent recruitment which we haven't had

- We are 17th and not adrift like Southampton

- RVN has shown glimpses of being a decent manager but needs to start learning from his selection mistakes

Im positive. Both us and Wolves were shite. The difference was the goal keeper. Vards should have done better for his first opportunity and was unlucky with his second. Wolves didnt deserve to win that 0-3 at all. 

 

January is key, but so are injuries. We've just got to muddle through the next 3 games and make sure Mads / Jakub and Ndidi are fit.

The likes of Mads, Winks and Mavididi won't stay around again. Ricardo and Vardy may no longer play for us. We'll be left with the likes of Ward, Choudhury, James, Daka and Coady to fashion a winning side (not to mention FT favourites Faes, Vesty and McAteer). Good luck with that squad. Who knows, maybe Alves can break through at last...

I was thinking about how grim it would be if Forest secured top 4 in May whilst relegating us
