Chelsea getting more compensation for Enzo and Staff despite having got rid of him than we did when he and all of his men were poached from us.

I bet he is desperate to win it for a parade with his influencer mates. Pearson and Mandaric dealt with the previous season in the proper way- noting the achievement but not being over the top about it.

This will be totally different.

"We have to get back to the identity of Leicester, what type of football we should play and what players we should bring."

You'd think the 10-year anniversary might jog his memory of what our identity is and what type of football we should play.

He is so totally blinded by the fact we won the league under Enzo, yet that was probably par when you look at the squad and budget... never mind the fact that the players had to ditch his style to get us over the line.

Mad to think at the time, but I actually think not appointing Jesse Marsch was such a sliding-doors moment. I was pretty down on the idea of hiring him at the time, and I don't think he would have kept us up, but I do think he would still have got us back up automatically. The squad was too good, and I think his style would have suited them.

We then would have been in a better position to stay up the following season due to his style of play. Most importantly though, Top's belief about what "our identity" is would be very different and would align much more closely with the fans' view (aggression, pressing, high tempo, etc.).

I actually kind of agree with this in a way you know, particularly watching the World Cup. He was neither good or bad in England. His Canada side are far more entertaining than anything we've played in a while.

If that EFL trophy draw doesn't make you want them out, I genuinely don't know what will.

Is there anyone really out there who would think about buying or even investing in this mess of a football club at the moment, I really do hope so and I really hope Rudkin never ever stays if we get new owners?

We've gone from being lightyears ahead of Fulham to being in the same cup competition as their under 21's. Top's legacy ladies and gentlemen.

Sorry though, I know we're meant to be blindly optimistic at all times
