We dont know if he refused to play. Equally likely the club left him out to protect an asset from injury.

One of our better signings as he at least leaves making a financial profit to the club unlike many others.

Didn’t Marty say he was available for selection though? Then he rocks up in the stands.

Yea like some say on here I honestly think he’s overrated on here, yes he is our best creative midfielder but Jesus Christ how hard is that? It’s like me saying I’m the better  person in a room full of Peter sutcliffe, Fred west, and jeremy corbyn

Strange comment

He did and by rocking up in the stands doesnt suggest a player that is refusing to play. All points at the clubs decision not to play him.

He doesn’t owe us anything. Wish him the best of luck, he’s a great player and will develop into one of the best. I’m happy to see him go to Germany, rather than another English club.

What have you seen that makes you describe him as a great player. Might be one day but a million miles away at the moment.

Good lord the amount of people glazing a player who wanted to leave the club after one season is insane. Stop being so spineless. Guy hasn't warranted a respectful exit.

Will get applauded if he ever comes back for sure though won’t he 😩😂

Not that bothered. The guys acting like he was the second coming of Mahrez when he was really the second coming of Ghezzal.

enjoy being pummeled in Germany and sold to a promoted side next year, just to get relegated again. See ya

Spot on..

He's been open about wanting to leave, and possibly see's himself in his eyes as to good for the championship.   Marti has correctly picked up on this and has had the good since to drop him for the match squad to stop his negatively seeping into the team.

I don’t have time for players not wanting to be here or not giving their all to earn the astronomical wages each week. Get a fee for him, his wages off the books and move on.

He’s a promising player, but hasn’t really done anymore than let’s say Demerai Gray did in his time here, flashes of brilliance but wouldn’t be a regular in the 2021 side for example.

I’ve no doubt he would have top half premier league clubs after him if he had shown more consistency.

I think it’s because he’s thrown his toys out of the pram, aka Fofana

I understand why people would feel a bit annoyed by his behaviour, the comment was more aimed at those saying Stuttgart isn't a good move for him, when on paper it really is

Stuttgart is a very decent move for him. Sounds like a decent fee for us. Shame we couldn’t get 2/3 years for us but we’ve worked the market and moved a player on for a profit.

His time was done here. We’ve won our last two without him involved. But we need a replacement. Hope he does well.

Now, if we haven’t got a replacement ready, I’ll be f-ing and blinding on the deadline tomorrow. If we do have a deadline, I’m certain Rudkin has taken a back seat and someone else is running it.

Good move for him! Flew out at 3:30 this afternoon to Stuttgart so assume this gets wrapped up tonight/early tomorrow
